Edenton @ South Columbus Eastern 2A Finals

QB is tough as nails. He put us on his shoulders last Friday night.
Now that I look at the two teams they seem similar. I know they run a different offense though. Looks like you have a tough QB that also plays LB. Very rare to see that but our QB is tough too and plays LB as well. Looks like you have good, fast RBs. Same here also. Should be fun to watch.

Can't wait till Friday night fellas win or lose its been an awesome ride!!!

These two teams are very similar.

I haven't seen Richard cook the chicken bog all year... And with the weather dipping to the 20's I wouldn't mind a hot plate of heaven to eat during the game.

Now I'm hungry after thinking about it

They had chicken bog at the first fairmont game don't know about the rest tho or who made it

Damn, one of my favorites ,going to be good.
Will help warm u up with temps. In twenties.

Kids that want to play now have to be devoted to weight room or get kick around all night. You can watch teams play and see who has been in weight room all year.

QB looks tough. He's taken some hard hits running triple option. Number 8 looks like a ghost. Now you see him. Now you don't. Really fast.
Keimon Bailey #8 is definitely a D1 prospect with his ability to run the ball and get tough yards as good as any back in the state I've seem. I hope the big schools in the state don't let him get away like they did Gurley and others good backs from small high schools in the state. Just luck how they let Tarik Cohen slip through their fingers to A&T he's the same size as Bailey 5'9" 175 but he wasn't 175lbs in high school Bailey is just a junior and his going to get bigger and stronger by next season I expect him to be at least 190/195 by his senior season at Holmes. As a matter of fact I heard from a reliable source that some schools in Raleigh want him to transfer to Raleigh and play at a particular high school but he's not going to do it he's going to finish his senior season at Holmes and should be just as good or better next season. When he graduate they will have Stanley #16 a freshman who's starting in the backfield with Bailey to take his place. Edenton have a very good rec program for football and basketball almost every year the middle school and jv in football and basketball go undefeated but people outside of the area don't know this. Bailey father and Stanley father coach them both since rec ball as a matter of fact Bailey broke Stanley#16 father rushing record at Holmes in a season.

Seems fast and legit. Hope we can get our hands on him. Sounds like a tough job to do!

Good luck to Coach Dove and the Stallions from this Pack Fan. Is the SC kicker still in the hospital or is he OK? I have not seen Edenton but both teams have speed backs, #40 Buffkin and the SC offensive line may be the difference in this game. Spencer has the ability to hit the short passes to loosen up the line of scrimmage which could allow Buffkin to be the difference in ball control. This Pack fan is planning to be there and cheer for the Stallions. Be nice to him.

All the talk is over now time to play some smash mouth football... Hope our guys show up tonight ready to play going to be battle of two very good running teams.

I'm sure they'll be ready lol who would've ever thought the STALLIONS would be playing in the Eastern Championship at the start of the season they've came along way and are back a year earlier than I thought they'd be .... GO STALLIONS

I guess the Stallions are still stuck with that 4th round curse from a few years back when they went to Tarboro and got demoralized. I had been hoping for a good close game tonight.. Triple option must be clicking.

Yeah. I expected this but didn't want to offend anybody. When Bertie lost by only 2td after traveling 4 hrs and played with a bkup qb, I knew it was NE or Edenton to the State Championship. SC has great fans and a great team. I wish them the best in the future. The ride back to Edenton is gonna be a good one. Business isn't complete though!

The Aces star back Keimon Bailey only played one serie when he reinjuried his ankle that he injuried in the Northeastern game the damage was done by the freshman back Stanley who was making only his third start of the season. I was telling you guys yesterday this kid his the real deal plus the Aces have a stable of backs they can use affectively if need be. The RB who was starting in the backfield with Bailey a senior by the name of Hall quit on the team after the Aces first playoff game and he had over 1300 yds. and 17td's the reason he quit nobody knows.
