Thoughts and predictions? Turnovers cost the Aces the last match-up in Elizabeth City and Northeastern came out with a 48-14 victory. Highly doubt this one will be a blowout.

The Aces were out coached the last time by coach Moore and Staff plus they got to get the ball into their play makers hands so their QB won't make too many turn overs I know he's the head coach son but he really hurt the team in the last game with his turn over plus the Aces coaching staff got to but some more tweaks into their play calling and running game.

though many may think this game will be close, I will have to disagree. NHS has way to many weapons, including Freshwater. I remember last week someone said NHS would beat SWO by 42 and people said that was ridiculous. Looks like whoever said that was spot on. I don't see that happening this friday, but I do believe NHS will win by 3 tds.

I'll take a Eagle win period... Aces are a good team and they gonna be really hyped up for this game. But @ the Eagles Nest that won't be enough...

Saw in the Daily Advance that De’Shaun Hall is no longer with them. He was their #2 back. Northeastern did a good job stopping Bailey, who has been running by everyone all season. Interesting to see if Edenton opens up the passing game this Friday.

it will be a great environment, the atmosphere will be electric, both sides of the stadium will be filled to capacity, and fans will be posted up all along the fencing trying to get a good view of the game. aside from all that, I just don't see it being close. this is the year that the nhs alum have been patiently waiting for, and for that matter the whole northeastern part of nc. year in and year out other fan bases from all over nc ( particularly eastern nc ) talk about how over rated our conference is. as a nhs alum, it gets old, and now the eagles have what it takes to win it all, and i firmly believe that we will easily win the east. I will never forget what happened in little washington a couple years back and i know antonio and the staff havnt either. that defeat to the pam pack still sticks in my head till this day.

I think these are the two best teams in the Eastern 2a by far. I hate that one will eliminate the other. Two teams from the same conference are in the final four of the 2a east and one is in the final four of the 2aa. I was at that Washington game. Wanted someone from the conference to represent the East in the Championship.

Yeah no doubt,it suxs that edenton &nhs had to meet this way. I'm pulling hard for hertford county, and i know everyone else in the albemarle area is as well.

The Aces still have three more back to help take the place of Hall they just didn't have the opportunity plus two of them are a more physical runner than Hall and the freshman is going to be a good one just like his father was when he played for Holmes.
