I'm not even a Morehead fan but since they have zero representation on this web site....I thought I'd give a shout out to our fellow county Panthers on their big win.....now 9-3 on the season...losses to E. Alamance, W. Alamance (during reg. season) and Reidsville.....they are playing really well right now...but big hurdle next wk. vs Havelock...Anway congrats to them..............

A big congrats to EM...thought that WA would win even though Pinnix could not play. This kid is a can be a beast. Looks like a long off season and Sr. season for this kid. WA will struggle now as he will be the only true play maker next year.
Shadow him as EA did with Lamont and WA struggles. Good luck to EM nest week as they travel to Havelock. I think they have a chance for a BIG upset the way the Rams are playing. Hope EM leaves on Thurs. to get there by game time.

With all due respect it's obvious you know very little about Western Alamance football. I hope everyone goes into next year thinking Pinnix is all we have. Cause we will tear some teams up with that approach. Started 6 sophomores the entire year. Played another sophomore significantly at RB late in the season. Our best receiver/ running back opposite Pinnix was a sophomore and will move to qb next year. Keep thinking the cupboard is bare. Best of all we loose our senior qb. Addition by subtraction in my opinion. He was a good runner and had a strong arm, but no clue how to read a defense or actually throw to an open receiver!
On the flip side congrats to Morehead! They won that game on pure heart last night. They never quit. We had a couple chances to deliver the knockout blow but couldn't do it. Hats off to them and Good Luck next week!

You are correct I do not know that much just observation from afar. So you do have good sophs. JV team middle of pack and MS not so good. Sophs. have learned to blow leads and not knock out opponents this year. Total collapse against EA and then blow one to EM. How do you change that? Last few years in play offs 2015, 2014 and 2012 1st rd. losses 2011 2nd rd. loss to NG and 2013 2nd rd. loss to EA. You have to know how to win. Most of the play off losses have to come conference rivals.
Oh shoot! You are right! On second thought I think we will just throw in the towel and give up on next season. Thanks for the advice!
My post was not advise. Didn't say throw in the towel just responded with some FACTS and wanted know how WA changes the culture so that these sophs. win the important games these next two years. I hope this is not the culture at WA of throwing your players under the bus like you have your QB or we will hear wheels go bump as these sophs. becomes jrs and continue to close out seasons as their peers before. You seem to know the WA program so this is why I asked.
My apologies then! I really don't know what the problem is. I don't go to practice so not sure. Don't know if the coaching culture or what! I wish I knew but they have talent. I know this group of sophomores have dominated the middle school sports so we will see what happens!
No apology needed. Just a friendly conversation about football. I agree that WA MS had two or three years of good FB a few years back. I know the last two have been just so-so. Just hate Pinnix could not play last night. Tough way to finish a great season for him.

Was really impressed with the way Morehead never quit. Honestly WA dominated the first half much like the EA game. Morehead obviously adjusted at halftime and WA didn't. Did WA miss Pinnix? Of course but they still had plenty to win. That's not an excuse as injuries are part of the game. Morehead just never quit! I give them credit!
