IMO don't even think he reached out to any of these schools. Just hyping that he tried to play these schools. WRH will never play NE unless it's in the playoffs. Tons of talented teams a lot closer. You got to understand this is highschool football, driving all the way up there is not cheap, band and cheerleaders and players/coaches all have buses. NE seems fine playing again teams up there and in VA. The location of NE really kills their hopes of playing some of the better teams in the state. Same goes for teams way out in the mnts

Both teams didnt play to their potential. Im happy with SWOs performance, for the most part. ED hit hard, and so did SWO. We both fumbled way to much. If the Panthers gave up over 200 yard passing to us you will have to watch out for real passing teams. Good luck in the ECC for conference play. See you boys in 8 days, Im goin on a fishing trip.

Well i couldnt make the game but some SW poster said SW gave the game to ED. I BEG TO DIFFER, we had turnovers, interceptions etc. Thats all part of the game but to say you gave it to ED is horribly incorrect. I think ED had you down 22-8 and allowed you to fight your way back. Now thats what ya call trying to give the game away. And y'all kept Praising your huge lines. Guess ED had an answer for that and your stout defense. And last but not least your Awesome "Transferred In NFL running back" I guess ED found an answer for him as well. Good luck Southwest, no hard feelings here, might not should be so arrogant before a big game though. And good luck with your new Coach, Phil Padgett he will never be!!
ED turned the ball over quite a bit... didnt seem like they played their best at all... and if not for a couple late scores... weren't really threatened. That's gotta sting.

Once again. My PANTHERS showed that they have heart and will not back down from anybody or anything southwest was a worthy opponent but my PANTHERS came out on top. With this win. East Duplin will start to get better each week in the games and in practice This week we have Wilmington Ashley. Should win. That one. But. The following week will tell the tell. Looking forward to seeing a old fashioned Duplin County rivalry game. Go PANTHERS
Mr 05, if you go read jdnews you will find that even if im a drunk 12 yr old as you suggested im still right. The game was very even according to the stats. ED fumbled 3 times but kept the ball. SW fumbled 6 times losing twice. But ED was inercepted twice. Each team had 55 yds of penalties. EDs Brown rushed for 193 yds alone ( seems we had the best back afterall ) SWs Thomas passed for 206 yds. Therefore everything seems mighty even to me so dont be a sour grape.
