Eastern Guilford vs DH Conley 44-29

Was in the area yesterday and decided to check out this game as I expected it to be more competitive than the Page game. I’ll say this, Eastern made Conley’s QB look avg and flustered with their base pass rush and slew of athletes at LB and CB. The halftime score was 31-7 Eastern as their offense once again rises to the occasion with deep shots and balanced ground attack rushing for 300+ yards. Eastern was just too much on both sides of the ball and probably the most athletic team in the state pound for pound as they aren’t a huge team defensively but their speed and strength looks overwhelming when you watch them. Go back to their game against Page earlier in the year. They had Page by 9 and stifle them for most of the night. This team is actually better than the 2016 team and it may not be close. Should be a good one next week as they take on Clayton so I’ll probably catch Page next week if I’m in town.
