Cougs 43-13 that's my score I'm sticking by it lol, I'd say logic would say this is a two to three score win at most by Heritage but since I talked crap to some MA fans saying we'd win by 30 I'm going to stick with it, I honestly think we can do it lol

This game won't be a challenge for MH. Considering the fact that they're at least 2 TDs better than Mt Airy the only real challenge will probably come from Tarboro in the state championship. They're always tough so Heritage better be prepared.

Well we have another mountain poster whose brain is lacking air. I guarantee you will never see Tarboro and that is the statement of the year that you are 2TD’s better than the bears. Those little guys you have better stay up in the mountains it will be a long night in the granite city. Oh I forgot you are loaded with all those athletes. Lmao.

Heritage better worry about east Wilkes they are twice the size of your guys and have as many athletes as you have. Don’t look ahead

Counter right, counter left. The cougs keep it simple, but if you’re good, you don’t have to be elaborate. I’d say EW will be just another stepping stone on the road to the finals for MH. 35-14 MH

I agree I think our team wins by 3 tds but will still be a tester as all of these games at this point are tough and you have to play your A game. We need to take it one week at a time and play hard every week. If we control the clock and run the ball like cougar football then I see us rolling no problem.

EW will be like looking in a mirror for Heritage. RUN RUN RUN ball control offense. EW a lot of misdirection offense. EW is a very physical team with some big linemen.

EW looks solid on film some decent size and speed, but there's something about them barely beating Elkin, Allegheny and Wilkes Central that tells me they might be not as good as their record, Heck the NR team they just beat barely beat Cherryville, a lot of the teams we've played have had the size advantage on us and I don't think EW will do what we do better than us in all honesty I think it might be a decent test where the cougs pull away late.

Heritage line is undersize but they are athletic, you don’t see linemen as athletic as heritage at 1a level. The D - line In my opinion is the best ever for heritage. E W game will help heritage get ready for better completion. Heritage 42- 14

To be honest rather play mtn airy then starmount, rams have a passing attack.

Just looking forward to making the trip up to Burnsville and enjoying the 3rd round. I don't think we've been this deep since 2015 when we lost to Mitchell at home. As scores have shown we are 2 scores behind ma and starmount, I expect the same thing this Friday. However, turnovers can make or break a game. I think we will do better than yall expect but I don't think we have all the pieces to go any further.

As for the NR game I don't know why they ever went away from the running game, they moved it pretty good against us straight up the b and c gap. I watched the heritage hayesville game and seen several plays that NR done against us that heritage was doing as well. Definitely going to have to find a way to stop it.

I dont have a score prediction, but I don't think we lose by more than 20, Unless of course we just turn it over alot.

That’s true , but our run defense is nasty. You guys are really good , hope we get opportunity to play you. You will be in for surprise
First half vs draughn you all couldn’t stop the run. If draughn QB didn’t try to throw and throw ints it would have been much closer game. So I don’t know where good run defense comes from.

Yout guys have a big game this Friday as well with Starmount. Hopefully we can see each other in the 5th round and get this back and forth settled. I also see robbinsville potentially upsetting murphy so that might be an interesting match up in the fourth round with Heritage vs Robbinsville.

He must not looked at the stats end of game.
There are two sides to that coin too. As bad as Starmount played(more like coached) and only lost by 3. That should be worrisome to Mt Airy. I know that Mt Airy fans will say vice versa.

Many are wanting to continue to point out the - 1 yards rushing but don't finish the storyline that the Rams didn't try to set up a rushing attack. I'm pretty sure that the negative yardage came from QB sacks where he was limited on running because of injury.

MA played bad also has 3 tds called back. 1 was punt return t and one was long rushing td and the runner was already past the hold. Was a sloppy game. MA rushed for 215. Starmount will be tuff to beat a 2nd time so dont get me wrong.

I wouldn't put too much stock in those close games that Elkin and Alleghany had with EW.

At this point in the season it's all about match-ups anyway.

For the EW game I think Heritage will win by 14-21 points.

I think the Rams will run on Mt Airy this go round, just enough to offset the passing game and control the clock. The terrible play calling in the last game put way too much pressure on the Starmount defense and gave Mt Airy way too many chances to score

Well one thing is for sure you talk a big game and all your dang excuses, but always been like that over there, you get to bring that all big, powerful and almighty Rams team over Friday and back those words up. Good luck to you and let’s see how many excuses you come up with this time. So tired of hearing QB was hurt, bs he was running for his life. Didn’t seem hurt on his opening touchdown celebration but when he started getting smacked different story. Trust me the “Hit Somebody” motto will be in full affect. There have been plenty of good teams that plan on running on mount airy and went home shaking there head. Can’t wait. You can get your shot at Tarboro next year in 2A

And they wonder why people hate MA fans so much.
