Chopper doesn’t speak on “the lack of a running game” anymore. He watches post game highlights, and he has seen the progression of the run game during these playoffs.

That’s my personal spread. You should know by now that I don’t give a damn about any algorithms. Shelby is at home, and will be too big, physically, for ES, not to even mention faster.
WRH would concern me more. They’re really athletic and a bonafide 2A program now. They have to get by Princeton first, though. If I were a WRH fan, I would be a little concerned about facing a passing team. You get a run dominant team like WRH who pretty much only faces other run dominant teams, they sometimes look confused, defensively, when facing passing teams.

Always fun to watch Shelby cruise through the playoffs. They play up for the better part of the season, take on all comers and still win a lot of those games. Then they crunch through 2A competition during playoff time. Bottom line, they play big boy football and the rest of 2A doesn't. Reidsville was the undefeated, unstoppable juggernaut last week...but focused on winter sports this week. Won't predict the score but this will be another physical mismatch.

I talked to Kee after the game last week. Sophomore is fast as lightning and on the 4x100 and 4x200 with sophomore Bridges that placed second in the state last year as freshmen. He said Petty's injury wasn't too bad and he should be back this week.
Between Kee and Bridges we are going to have some incredible speed over the next couple years.
Otis is in my signature because he had the funniest post I've seen in 2021.
I only asked if the other RB was injured, not the resume of the underclassman lol

Its here, the day like no other day of the week!! GAMEDAY!! Looking forward to the opportunity to play one of the elite programs in North Carolina tonight. If you are going to get better as a program you have to play the best. That's what we've been working towards for years. Thankful for the opportunities that made it possible to get here. Personally I'm expecting another close game tonight. East Surry by a point to continue with the theme of the past couple weeks. Win or lose, God's still good and we're blessed to be here. Hoping for a good hard fought injury free game tonight.

Maiden really had 6 TOs and only lost by 1 point and still put up 35 points?
It will be interesting to see how ES attacks the Shelby defense. Will it be bubble screens or run at the speed.
The Cards blocked an XP…just missed blocking another one as well. They seemed to be pretty good at it…but I’m not sure.
Maiden was good at blocking XP this year too!…but not at East Surry! Their FG kickers’ XP would’ve been good from the 40! High…long…accurate kicks!

No. I have an algorithm I developed in 1965. It works quite well.
We should have won by at least 3 touchdowns. When we lost #2 Chris is when our demise started. 1 player really does make a difference when they start both ways. And is probably the biggest play maker on the team.
We definitely should have won by 3 TDs. East didn't give up and capitalized on all our mistakes. We lost it more than they won it...and still managed only a 1 point victory. It was our 2nd worst game of the year.
But not making mistakes and capitalizing on the other teams mistakes is a part of being a great football team...and as much as we are a better team than East, they were the better team that night. They won. We lost.
