I doubt Brevard expected a home game round 3! These teams know each other well with Brevard winning their conference game a few months ago at East Rutherford 24-21. I expect another close game. Can East deliver a repeat of tonight's performance? The winner of this game has a good shot of making the western final.

Questions I have for this game. One can east reel in their emotions after big win focus on task at hand. Two knowing Brevard is gonna play zone defense can they pick it apart enough to loosen it up for the run. I see a game like first one could go either way but I would still favor Brevard just because their offense is very balanced .
I have really liked ER ever since I saw them over the summer. They are two evenly matched teams that are playing their best football of the season right now. I think the break in play from the hurricane helped Brevard more than any team get refocused.

What East Rutherford has done this year is incredible. Should be a great game this Friday night in Brevard.
East will refocus, all they have wanted for a while now is a little respect. Brevard will be a challenge, but the bitter taste of the 24-21 game still looms in the Bostic community. The ER guys lean on one another, they don’t need the hype, the glory , or the horseshoe. They playing as one, one team, that look no farther than the next opponent. Coach Russ has two State Championships, he knows what type focus is needed, and he knows the coaches around him give just as much to preparation as he does… it’s a week to week season, but playing Thanksgiving week is something the team will always remember.
