Ive been hinting to that. Remember our conversations last yr. No change. Disgusting!
Coaching lost this game. If you can't see that then you are blind as a bat. WRH can't get a rhythm on offense when they really need a long drive. The OC can't get the play in half the time and when he does he runs the same 5 or 6 plays. BATTLE out coached the entire WRH coaching staff tonight. Wallace couldn't get stops on 4th and longs so ED ate the clock up. Great game plan by the Panthers they did what they had to do to win the game. I have said it for 4 yrs Battle gets more out of his players then the coaches at WRH do out of theirs. When Wallace had to throw the ball tonight they looked terrible almost like they haven't practiced it but passing has never been their strong suit. Until a change is made you can expect this type of outcome against well coached teams. Best WRH can do now 10 or 11 seed in the playoffs. So second round will be at Whiteville or Northeastern. I feel sorry for this senior class the coaching staff has really let them down!
good game we got out coaches again Wallace had the worse coaching staff I’ve ever seen bad play calling and Ed Defense rose to the occasion not hate here, only congratulates from the dog

I try to tell it straight. I knew if Ed could just stay in the game it was a good chance we would win.

It's the truth. If you were at the game you would have seen the same thing everyone else saw. The players didn't lose this game. And agian no shade on ED they played great.
Battle owns the blueprint on WRH. He helped write it.

Did I read in the Jacksonville Daily News this is the Panther's 3rd consecutive win over the Bulldogs? I know ED had a heck of a team last year (spring) , much better than their overall record. They had our DarkHorses beat except for a failed 2 point conversion.
Congrats to ED, their players and coaching staff. Lots of teams would have folded up and deviate from game plan down 13-0 on the road, but they did not. They were the better team last night and made plays to win the game. Simple as that.

That Pender game was a last minute game, East Duplin didn't have time to prepare for it.
Roger that. I don't know much about the east just hoping to see Tarboro finally have a real threat against them out there. Maybe it won't happen. Regardless huge win for East Duplin. I listened to Wallace on the radio a little bit this year and knew they'd be a tough out.
The only team I can maybe see beating tarboro in the east is north moore. Northside pinetown has been impressive as well but in the four years that tarboro played them they destroyed them every single time. Who knows though, them duplin county schools have given tarboro some memorable battles and butt whoppings to.
Trust me a whole lot of tarboro fans want to be back in 2a again. Sadly I don't see it happening anytime soon. Maybe Wallace rose hill or northeastern will drop to 1a at the next realignment. The previous four seasons it was inevitable it was gonna be tarboro vs edenton. Edenton had a really good team all 4 seasons, matter of fact the year they came to 1A the year before they played for the 2a state title.
Yes, I can remember a couple of slobber knockers over the years with Tarboro. I don't think there's too many teams in the East that want to draw Wallace or ED in the playoffs.

Alls I'm saying is some more competition never hurt nobody. It might liven up the atmosphere for you all out there and make it more exciting than the butt whippings you guys hand out per usual lol. But I've said this before and I'll say it again you guys were my pick to win State before the season started and nothing so far this season has led me to think otherwise.

2010 was a good game against East duplin Todd's junior year. Imo 2a east is wide open idk who the favorite is.
Man I'd love nothing more than for a Wallace Rose Hill or northeastern to be in the 1a east with tarboro. I hope we win state but tarboro is not the tarboro team from the previous four seasons. I feel like if we win states it's by one possession.
Looks like everyone underestimated those Panthers again. There sure were some sad faces leaving the home side well before the game was over.

Like I said before though on either this thread or the other Wrh/ED thread, Ain't nobody going to be happy when they see they've drawn Wallace or ED in the playoffs😳
