East Duplin shuts down WRH in 2nd half.

Us stopping them on 4th down and on the other side we converted all but one of our 4th down attempts was the difference

How bout them Giant Killin Panthers from East Duplin that beat the Dogz at the pound?!?!
3rd year in row ED has beat the Pups. These wild predictions I've been reading all day about wrh winning by 2 tds or more and scores like 41-28. HILARIOUS😂😂😂😂

Well that's always a good chance as the ones in charge of the playoffs always seem to try to make it where the ECC takes out their own😳

We may play again. Then it may be hilarious. We'll see.

ED fans, some of you havent posted squat all year and now decide to come out in full force. Congrats on the win, much deserved and well earned. Just remember, there is no more 2A and 2AA so there is a chance you might see the Dogs again this year.

Your program and those coaches have had success for a long time, won big games before and all acted like they had done it before. No big celebrations, no cat calls and nothing out of the ordinary after a big win. It would be nice if some of their fans acted the same.

Enjoy the win. Nothing but credit to their kids and staff. Gritty, hard nosed bunch for sure.

I've been here all year. I said at the start of the year this East Duplin team would battle for the top of the conference and lots of people on here from all schools thought I was crazy. That Wallace team on the field last night is very good and should be able to beat ED every time. And if they play again there is a good chance they will. But I played at ED and know how those coaches make you believe in yourself. And I still saying y'all better quit over looking that Princeton team and others. Good game

Well congrats ED, looks like another year the dogs won’t win the EC conference. That’s 4 straight years. Let’s see last 3 years it was oh yea Clinton, and now ED.

side note: I’m just joking around. Tons of respect for both programs and WRH regardless of lack of conference titles the last few years, has been there in the end almost everyone of those years and that is what matters most. Best of luck to the dogs and panthers and maybe, just maybe my horses can see y’all in a few weeks.

Yes you have and your posts are generally spot on. Nothing but respect for ED program from me. Again, congrats on the win and good luck rest of the way.

Let us break this down a bit.

1) Most thought Wallace was top dog no pun intended of course down East this year.

2) Most folks weren't giving ED a chance in this game. Even Simmons predicted wrh by 13 but then again he picked Kinston to beat wrh as well.

3) As I read these posts it would seem that some of wrh faithful feel that the best team did not win the game last night. It appears that they think their own coaching staff lost the game. I guess ED players had nothing to do with the win. It's hard not to be a little salty when your team loses but the fact is no coaching staff from either team suited up and hit the field. Both programs have a rich football heritage and both have Great coaching staff. You may not like or agree with all of their calls but good coaching staff none the less.

4) These 2 teams know each other very well so when they get together you never know what the outcome will be. Both should represent our conference well.

5) Should these 2 teams meet again this year it will be anyone's guess as to the outcome. Most thought Wrh was head and shoulders above the remainder of the conference. Root for your team and accept the outcome and move on.

Bythefence I know I m probably one of the posters that you were referring to earlier and that's ok. I've been on these boards for years but haven't posted too much this year. Kinda sitting back and waiting for this game. Both teams came in with the same record and one had to lose and one had to win. I noticed that you predicted a big win for wrh just as others had. No problem but as I've read these boards I've noticed that you seem to kinda scout ED for whatever reason. You seem to be worried more about them than your own team. If I'm wrong then my apologies.

Win lose or draw it is now time to focus on one more regular season game and then on to the playoffs as both of these teams should make some noise.

Olddog, no Chirping here Sir, go back and read again. I gave both teams props. That game could have went either way and should they meet in the playoffs it will most likely be just like last night, either team could pull it out.
Don't need to read again. You're rubbing it in- to be expected. That's what a rivalries all about. We would be giving yal the same. See ya in a few wks(hopefully)

No apologies needed or expected. I do watch ED games on the NFHS on demand so I see quite a bit of them. Know a lot of people in that area who follow them way closer than I do.

Nothing but congrats from me on the win and good luck rest of season.

Hope you aren’t referring to me…

I’ve been on this site for 10+ years. First under TD Pass and now under TD Pass2. I’ve been here long enough to see some of your crazy posts as well. Good luck to you and your Dogs from here on.
