I said a few days ago that EB did not impress me when they played Midway. Would have been a different game if Midway had more depth....they were just worn out by the end of the 3rd quarter. I stated Clinton would have the advantage in the speed department, and they did. Congrats on the win, 1-0 this week!
East Bladen is huge up front on defense but sideline to sideline not that fast we just beat them to the outside got those big boys winded then pounded up the middle great game plan by Coach Lewis....Tyion Wright had his coming out party huge game...Skinner was Skinner of course....Faison had some nice runs....Jeremiah Pope #15 is the real deal if he played in a spread passing offense he would be a 1,000 yard receiver.......defense was all over lights out loved the performance proud of my Horses
You're right DH#34, EB is huge on the defensive line front, but they lack depth. Great strategy by Coach Lewis to get to the outside, wear out the linemen, then punch the ball up the gut. Great win by the Horses! Next up: Midway.
Impressive 49-19 win by the DarkHorses over a ranked undefeated team the only team to beat them last year's regular season. A explosion of talent offensively and the defense played really well. Work is needed in the special teams as we had a breakdown once but then when you get the opportunity to kickoff a number of times something good is happening and there becomes more opportunities for a return.
This was one of the more impressive wins I've seen the DarkHorses make in a number of years with the exception of the regular season endin win over Wallace Rose Hill last year who went on to win the 1AA championship

Congrats to an awesome Clinton squad, they have some unreal athletes! Wright, #5 is a real talent to accompany Skinner. EB has a lot of work to do if they want to make any noise in the playoffs. Still running offense like we have monster backs (like Murchison). On the rare occasion they let #21 get out in space on sweeps or tosses, he made explosive plays. If we don't have our traditional RB's we shouldn't be so stubborn in sticking to the tradition of up the gut ground and pound.
Congrats to Clinton, they definitely wanted it more the we did and it showed. Defensively, we played about as bad as you can play. Everything that was game planned for, we did the opposite. When each player did their job correctly, we would always make a good stop. It was just too many mental lapses on that side of the ball. Ethan Hines had a great game for the Eagles and tried his best to keep us in the game but just too many mistakes from the Eagles. Although the outcome was not what we wanted, the sky didn't fall and the sun came up the next morning so it's not as bad as it seems. This team will learn and get better. Sometimes a loss like this can invigorate and energize a team. I have all the faith in this coaching staff and the players to come out of this a better team. Now on to Pender.
East Bladen will be just fine. You all will get back on track when Eian Hines gets back, those young men and #3(I forget his name) have speed to burn. Like you stated, the guys have to clean up those mental mistakes, as that should not be happening more than halfway through the season. East Bladen, be 1-0 this week!
