Man, it’s wild to see how quiet Bunker Hill and Bandys fans be actin, especially cause them schools got mad football history. Like, Bunker Hill been doin their thing for a minute and got a crew that usually rolls hard for em. And don’t sleep on Bandys, they got a legacy with ballers who made it big. You gotta ask yourself, where all the fans at tho?

Round 4 for Lincolnton vs Maiden on Friday. Is it possible to honor the Lincolnton and Maiden NCpreps members before the game? Can someone get that to the administrators?

I doubt it the top producing Wr and RB are SR. The QB does return. Their JV went 0-9 even in a weaker conference they are perennially weak.
The one team that's possible would maybe be Patton but who knows if they even field a varsity team.

Hello, fellers. Got out of the routine of posting after football season and hope everyone is well. I listened to the end of the Lincolnton @ Maiden game. Hard to imagine two teams being so similar. Congratulations to the Wolves and tough break for the Blue Devils.
WLON (Lincolnton radio) said there was such a crowd at Maiden they had to turn people away. I would have come but was afraid of catching the covid virus, or the flu, or a cold. Glad to see a big turnout and I know Maiden was happy with the proceeds from the last two Lincolnton games. AMD texted me a photo of the crowd.
Speaking of crowds at the game, I'd bet there wasn't as many in the Maiden gymnasium (including those standing around on the outside), as there was tonight at one of the bars in downtown Lincolnton. I went out for a sandwich and passed by this establishment. It looked like the crowd had been packed inside with a front-end loader. Large throngs of people were hovering around the tables waiting to get a seat. Now, I'd say that was some very dry customers. They also had an in-person singer to come in.
Postscript: AMD said the referees were bad and missed a "horrible" backcourt violation on Lincolnton. Since he is such an unbiased soul, and if the NCHSAA reads this, I shouldn't be surprised if they play the game again. Don't worry AMD, if they don't play again we got Salisbury, next time, who, this year, beat the Boston Celtics in a practice game, by double digits.

Ultimately if we're honest with ourselves all roads lead to a loss in Reidsville. They are the 15th ranked team in the nation I believe
Sorry been quiet for a while I follow more football than anything else. I did take an interest in basketball this season. Season went as about as well as we expected. Baseball just now cranking up, let's see what happens.
Will be interesting to see what Patton does this year, I believe they will field a young Varsity team and an almost all JV team in 2025... Alot of people gave their coach some grief over not fielding a Varsity team last season but I think it was the only logical decision he could have made.
Looking for the new turf field to be put down at Newton Conover soon. Getting the storm drain fixed now.
