Conley coaching change...

Then your opinion is garbage. You know absolutely nothing of the situation.
The truth is a good man and excellent football was set up and fired because people in the Pitt Co School Adm. did not like him or the football program he had built.
Marr, the new Conley principal was brought in for the sole purpose of firing Paschal. This goes back to Butler, the County AD getting in trouble over lying to Conley and Paschal 2 hears ago, and costing Conley a football player and 3 wins. Butler was caught and disciplined.
He and friends on the board brought Marr in to get rid of Paschal. They don't like him and wanted him gone. He was set up with the help of the mother of a North Pitt player, who also happens to be a school district employee. Paschall was accused of recruiting, the mother lied and now the son and 3 more of his friends play at Rose.
Marr lied to the Coach, School AD, and the booster club. He told them Paschal is a good coach and supported him. He then went to the NCHSSA appeal and told them Paschal cheated. He also did not support the appeal, if he had the appeal would have been approved by NCHSSA. (Truth!)
The school AD did not even know the Principal (Marr) was firing Paschal until after he had done it.
Paschal built the Conley program from nothing and had done it with hard work and within the rules. I know this because my son played for him and helped build the program. I have remained close to the program because I admire what Paschal and his coaches have built.
The Conley program has lost an excellent football coach and mentor for kids that need it.
You board monkeys run your mouths about things you know nothing about. You are naive. You know nothing about the ugly politics that take place in county school systems. Good people get screwed because someone with friends and a little power dont like them.
Paschal will get a good job Coaching another school. The County AD and board are hoping The Conley football program will decline so that they will not feel the need to put money into facilities they have neglected for 45 years.
Butler and his cronies will continued to get board actions passed that will help Rose and hurt the other 5 high schools in the county.
What I have posted is 100% truth. If anyone tells you anything different they are lying, period.
Connors was on the sidelines. Paschal brought him in and made him OC 3 or4 years ago. This year is a result of what Paschal and his coaches have been building for 6 years.
Conley should be stronger next year, with a big senior class.
2 nd conference title in 3 years.
I have to agree with Starch concerning coach Pascal building the Conley football program, and he did it in a short period of time as well. I remember him when he coached Washington Pam Pack and Roanoke Redskins before he arrived at Conley. He had success at every school he coached. Any school that wants to build a strong football program, coach Pascal is the man.
Uh, Ok Starch. Well, the coach who did lead the team this year obviously did a good job in such adverse circumstances and deserved the opportunity to lead the program, if your boy Pascal is indeed no longer the coach. Pascal did a fabulous job building that program, no doubt! I had the honor of coaching against him while he was building it. Sounds kinda like the situation where a good man at JH Rose lost his job too over a little recruiting scandal that involved Conley if I remember correctly? Hmmm. Interesting.
The Rose coach lost his job because he couldnt win. He and Butler worked together to get Conley in trouble 2 years ago. Butler. To save his butt, threw the Rose coach under the bus. The Other Pro Rose people in the County Adm. went along with it because they wanted anew coach that could win.
Conners is not a players coach like Paschal.....I think the boys did as well as they did by paying tribute to the boys who were lost over the summer and as a tribute to Paschal...
There was a lot of underlying grumbling going on with the team.....but they did really well in-spite of it.....

Scotland Co will take the qb if he is unhappy! What a baller he is. On a serious note Conley is one of the better coached teams in the east. I saw them last year and they had limited talent and played an excellent game. I'm sure he will land on his feet.
He defiantly build a strong program. I wish the new coach well and hope he can keep it going. Good coaches are hard to find, a lot of admin people are quick to get someone new and then 3 years late the program can't win 3 games a year. Any word if Pascal is looking into any other coaching jobs?
Yes he is Port. He will be somewhere else building a strong program soon. I dont know where but have been told schools have been in contact with him.

To suspend Coach Paschal for a year, giving fans hope that he will return next season just to kick him to the curb is wrong. He built a successful program and Coach Conners did an excellent job filling in. The program will be fine. Whoever snags Coach Paschal will be getting an excellent coach!
That's kind of a odd statement coming from a former HFC. Even if the firing has some merit, some things are better left unsaid from inside the coaching fraternity. Maybe you have some kind of ax to grind with Pascal but hopefully someone just hacked your account.
No ax at all. I think Pascal is a great coach. I think it is nice that the new guy got the job after taking over during this season. Hiring from within to hopefully keep some continuity with what Pascal has built. Nothing more intended.
Ok. You posted your "cool" "he deserves it" comment right after lovethem bears asked "Did they dump Pascal?"
I think he is asking what you meant by "That's pretty cool if they did" I am guessing you were referring to it being cool that they gave the interim HC the full time job.
