At 1:45 PM today Bahakel's website shows their game of the week to be streamed on YouTube tonight @ 7 PM to be Weddington @ Cuthbertson. They made a late game change last week, so I hope this is correct.

Actually Cutherbertson has a better record than I thought, 6-2. Weddington is 7-0. It's hard to see Weddington not winning, but it may be a half way decent game.

They are slightly less than 5 miles apart, so it's a natural rivalry.

Yes, I am up here in the triad, but have been to both. Should be a good rivalry game anyway. I did see Cutherbertson play earlier in the year.

Score isn’t really indicative of the actual game. 10-0 at halftime, then Cuthbertson turned the ball over inside their own 15 yard line 3 straight times. Weddington is really good, not sure they are good enough to beat Hough this year, but they have a tendency to exceed expectations. Cuthbertson’s defense is stout, the offense put them in terrible positions all night long. Weddington only had one TD drive over 40 yards. Can’t turn the ball over against teams like Weddington. Forced 3 turnovers on defense, but that front 4 for Weddington is one of the best the state has ever seen.
