If CF scores 21 points I’ll be shocked. Our Defense is supposed to be even better than last year.
I think you're right. The Fayetetteviile Observer knows nothing. No one is going to have a big game on this defense, no one!
I would be shocked as well. Cape Fear may score once, thats about it on the defense.
I know a coach that could make it a banner year for this team.
They will get bette......think most knew it wasnt the usual caliber class coming up from the middle school but they will grow and learn

Yea heard Hobbtons QB is a stud. Like 5 rushing TD’s and 2 ints for the defense. Kid is a baller.
I liked him last season when i saw him in the Jamboree.....Hobbton has a good group could surprise some folks in the 1A east but that defense gonna have to improve
Well been clear for the most part in Clinton all day but just checked the WRAL app line of thunderstorms approaching then a lil gap and another line behind that HSOT.com said most ADs will be making decisions on play or no play by 3pm so guess we will see

WRAL says that the storms down there are moving to the East at around 25 mph, and I don't see any lightning on the radar.

Key thing is both staffs have to agree....im willing to bet Cape Fear staff wasnt feeling Monday with a big game against Seventy First next Friday but hell idk who are we to say what happened....hindsight is 20/20 in these situations but moving it up to Thursday now looks like it would of been the best option but then again they were able to get 3 quarters in a couple miles down the road in Spiveys Corner so just unlucky night for us rain stopped but lightning just wouldnt go away
Yeah very disappointing nothing could be worked out i think us and Fairmont are the only teams in the region not rescheduling
