I have Clinton vs Reidsville in the 2A State Championship, good nostalgic feel to that possible matchup. WRH is a major threat, though, they could definitely have their say in who represents 2A East.
Coach Johnson said that out of all the teams he's coached, this team is the most cohesive bunch. And the defense has really stepped up since losing their defensive leader Mohammed Kaba. The defensive coach is excellent at making adjustments and the offense is clicking. We're definitely going to be a tough out.

I too have watched the DarkHorses for 47 years (when I moved to Clinton) I’ve seen some mighty good Clinton teams, 5 state championship teams, 10 eastern champions. This 2019 team can be that caliber of team. They have all the parts needed. You can tell they enjoy playing together.They still have some work to do and I think they will do it.

I saw the Darkhorses come together at NS J game. Y'all got that look, that " it". I hope WRH gets another shot.
If we do, we'll go ahead and just call this the top game in the state! Would be fun to watch.
