I like Asheville being on the Crest schedule also. Lloyd played them a couple of years at KM. Asheville will compete, they will be big and physical in the trenches. I believe Crest will be able to exploit them some in its passing game. Asheville is a proud program. I like these types of game to get some good work in.

We had two non-conference games and scheduled two power houses. Our schedule is freaking loaded!!! Just ask the NCHSAA. They really knew what they were doing with this conference I tell ya. 48-0 with 2 min left in the 1st Quarter vs Cherryville last year with a Tight End playing QB. It does not get any tougher. The worst part is this is better than the previous 4 years. They set us up to be happy now that we have Lincolnton and West Lincoln. SMH! The gates will be better I guess.

Exactly. I honestly hope Lincolnton is as good as I think they are going to be. They are definitely on the rise with talent again. WL will eat the clock up with their style of offense. Those two games may be better for us in place of TJ so I will look at the glass half full. Cherryville, Highland, BC will be the games I see that rule having a massive impact on. KM, Crest, WL, Lincolnton, Shelby is better than it was but that first / second draft was solid and I guess that made too much sense. My pick would be add us to the Big South in place of Cramer but who am I? lol

I believe Lincolnton will be really good with some very good athletes and a LB with over 30 offers.
It seems like the NCHSAA really put together a challenging lineup that will push these teams to improve. So now as we all know Crest's team had a Tight End slinging passes like he was a quarterback! Shows they got talent DEEPER than my grandma's secret recipe for chili! But man, that new running clock rule is like putting a speed limit on a rollercoaster! Gotta keep that intensity up, folks! Or else, it’s just one long Carolina nap time!
