I talked to a Shelby fan down here on Sanibel Island and he said he moved to SW. FLORIDA because there was no 4A teams playing in 2A conferences down here.
He said back home he dealt with conference games one of 2 ways. He either wore a bag on his head or he’d just go watch Crest play since they played real football games.
Told me he started to turn into a Charger fan so he just packed all his crap up and left because he didn’t want his dad crawling out of the ground to get his heart broken seeing him in a Charger hoodie from Bradley’s.

I talked to another Charger fan and he said he could not believe Crest was dumb enough to buy used weights and think they were new. I didn’t ask any more questions. Seem like a nice guy.

No one could count to 3 faster than Shelby teams in the 1920-1930’s. Just ask them about that dynasty.
Heck I was talking to a Shelby “fan” but it was hard to communicate with the glass between us , it was talking about how excited it was for the new Detention Center to be built , that was end of convo visitation was only 1-4 on Tuesdays so I left

I have a friend and ex coworker who is a Crest graduate We bet dinner at outback on last years game. So when it came time for me to settle up, I told him we were going to the one in Gaffney. He texted me and said he had to back out. I never understood it. True story.

I heard from trans Shelby fan that used to be the center at Shelby and she said that Shelby would not consider scheduling Gaffney once.

They dropped us back when we were 3a and came close a couple of times and got beat pretty good a couple of times. They couldn't afford to lose to a smaller school. That's why they dropped you guys.
