They don't go by how many football players you have they go by student ADM's and Shelby had very low 800's last year. Well behind everyone else in this county. We won against two of them. Not to bad for the smallest school in the county.

I know what the process is and how the classes get determined. My point is Shelby was 3 students away from moving up to 4a but to their benefit they have the largest football team in the smallest school. We can talk about other sports and maybe Shelby falls into 3A numbers in those sports but in Football they do not field a 3A team. That is why I said my point was not to give them hell but to state the facts. They will win a Ring for the next 4 years at least. They could go 0-3 or 3-0 in the county and it will not matter come playoff time.

They only had 2 teams in their division to even worry about. Monroe, who moved up to our division and Reidsville who moved to 4A.

We may be fans but not all of us speak for the parents. If Burns and Crest do not make big runs or beat Shelby in the next 4 years and Shelby is winning rings??? Do the math. We all know what will happen. The parents will want a ring on their kids finger and send them straight to Shelby. Crest is loaded this year but if they do not win it all and Shelby does..... See where I am going? Burns has a ton of talent coming up that manhandled teams in middle school Historically, that is when we make a big run again. If Shelby is winning titles and we cannot or even beat Shelby where do you think that talent will go??

Then Burns comes to 2a cause they fig. There chaces in 2a were going be great....

5a numners on ADM..
Now going be 3a and theres nobody in it...

The only years that Shelby didn't play someone better than we played all year was in 2a was 2014 and 2015. Those Crest teams were legit and the best team we played those two years, but not the rest of them including last year.

Im struggling fellas... told my son goodbye tonight as he had to go to a hotel in Charlotte , then tomorrow we go to MEPS in Charlotte to see him off to the ARMY.... I am extremely proud but for the love of god I wasnt prepared to say bye today and I will be a blubbering mess tomorrow.. He will do great I have no doubt, But my little boy is not little anymore, and knowing Ill rarely see him for 6 years at the least is not something I was able to prepare properly to do....

According to my son, I will have to do this myself in a few years. He said he wants to serve his Country. That was a proud moment but until I am in your shoes there is no way I will know what that will feel like. You raised a good one and you know it.

This isn't about power or politics. My post's have not bashed you on this topic and if you read slowly with that South Harmon Institute of Technology degree you will see that. My point has simply been that nobody has the strength on that list that Shelby does. Move up to 4A or stay 3A. I do not care. I stand by what I said. If other teams do not perform and win like Shelby WILL, the transfer portal will be full swing in Shelby's favor.
