The fact that only four coaches in NC make over $100k, compared to over 34 in South Carolina, highlights a significant issue in how we value sports and coaching talent in our educational systems. Also remember that schools with active booster clubs may be able to offer better compensation, while others may not have the same level of community support. For whatever reason this has created jealousy between a community, communities and people in general.

It would be interesting to see how may of those 4 making $100k plus has other duties at school other than coaching football. Like AD or coaching another sport.
This is not just a NC coaches issue it is a State wide NC teacher pay issue.
NC loses great teachers at all levels due to lack of commitment to pay for teachers.
Been this way for years.
What teachers have to deal with today with the youth is unthinkable , teachers deserve better pay period.

I tell you what I do know. Assistant coaches come and go. It happens every year. You have to make moves to get where you want to be unless you are content with just being an assistant. There is no need for bread crumbs when your rival has been baking a whole new loaf.

It’s hilarious that because we had someone who help create and manage the Touchdown Club that it became a booster trying to buy a title. The wild part is that the rest of the county is copying everything KM does from an athletic facilities upgrade process. No one put me in my place you better believe that. Almost single thing I mentioned has been proven, you guys just don’t know that yet. As far as “mic drop” Burns haven’t beaten KM in the last ten years with most being woodshed beatings so I need you to address us as Dad when mentioning KM football!

Just as I stated last season and I will say it now to you jock sniffers, KM will beat the “Loaded” Chargers again because we are better than you 1-22 and 23-44. I believe last year’s “Loaded” Chargers finished 3rd in the Big South 🤦. It’s a reason the most loaded team in Cleveland Co. history are always chasing our kids lol
