Ethan Pressley isnt even the starter at EG. He only played due to Parker Staffords injury this past season.
Nothing to do with football but Crest plays at home against Oak Grove next Tuesday in basketball third round
Got to shore up the defense but the hitting was there. We used Colby in relief Wednesday and Friday. Guess they wanted to get him stretched out.

Realignment appeal update.
Cherryville proposed that Burns and Shelby be moved into a conference with Burke and Rutherford schools (presumably East Burke, Patton, and Draughn out of Burke County). It was unclear where Hibriten and West Caldwell would have ended up. They might have been included as well. Cherryville should have just proposed going back to the first draft but I appreciate their efforts.

The committee first thought they meant they wanted the 4A schools out (Burns, Cramer and East Gaston).

Now Cherryville will propose to play Shelby the week before Shelby plays Crest and hopefully get us in a trap game and catch us looking ahead.
I will give Highland Tech credit. They didn't give a damn. They gave us more of a game than Cherryville did. We put as many on Cherryville in the first quarter than we did HT in the whole game. I don't blame either for not wanting this because we didn't either. I think the way Cherryville went about it is what did them in. That first draft was the best of the 3 in my opinion.
Those updated fancy jerseys got highland tech feeling themselves 😂. West iredell in our league looked scared and weak yesterday. Went to appeal to get out of our league by asking to be put in a league further away with no past connections to them. Basically made themselves look horrible.
I’ve been hearing rumors the last few days. It seems we have lost another good player to Crest that fills a big hole for them. Some of the Charger faithful will be cheesing over this one 🤮. Next man up.

Why would any kid leave KM and Moe Herron to play for the coach KM ran off? Thats odd.
Do you think that when Moe put in for the Gaffney job that some kids might have saw he was just going to up and leave so they have it in their mind to do the SAME?

Crest has a point person whispering sweet nothings into players and parents ears. Heard about that too. Every head coach Crest has had with the exception of the guy who won the first state title interviewed for vacant positions while coaching Crest trying to escape that barn so that’s irrelevant. That’s what coaches do. All three players that joined Crest made big plays in the KM victory OVER those loaded Chargers. I guess if you can’t beat’em, steal’em or something like that. It will make us whupping Crest again later this year that much sweeter. Kids can go where they want to go I don’t care but I am also aware that this is going to stir up some stank in the county. KM will just plug in a couple of young talented kids that we would have kept on jv and beat your loaded team again. It’s Cleveland County, I expect nothing less 😂Is someone mad? I am really not mad. The young talent in our pipeline is phenomenal right now. We have some freshmen and sophomores that are going to put their names on the map this upcoming season.
It seems like Crest is going all in this season. It kind of makes me think that Lloyd is trying to win one before he hang it up for good.

I heard this Sunday but I blew it off because it didn’t make sense. I was like this is just someone talking nonsense. Last night one of my Crest buddies texted me and asked if I had heard anything about this one kid coming to Crest. I still didn’t believe. This afternoon I received a couple of texts confirming the enrollment into Crest smh. Stuff happens. As long as no one bothers my fishing rods or my dog I’ll be fine.
