One of the best. It's almost like you're on the field. One of those times we were there a Catholic player committed a penalty and the Crest crowd chanted "you can't do that" and the player gave us the double middle fingers.... FANTASTIC!
I still remember the night Rhaheim and Jon Jon put on show..I also remember Kee putting on a show returning kicks and reverses..I also remember the game we where up 2 scores on them and lost..good times
Definitely some of the best games I have been to. Jon Jon playing fullback and leading Rhaheim up in that defense was straight 🔥🔥. Also Jon Jon had the flu and Catholic had that big tight end and he was still no match for Bullard. They had to double team him.
However that same tight end stood up there as we were walking out and shook the Crest fans hands and told us what a great team we had and he meant every word of that. Pure class.
I know this is not football related but congrats to Will Varner from KM for winning the State Championship tonight in the 150 weight class in Wrestling.
Wrestlers are a different breed. Pure dedication.
Crest fans in the know see if you can find out. I keep hearing the you guys are playing Weddington and Monroe in your non conference schedule.
Asheville and Weddington
Gosh, thank you. I wanted to say it but felt it wasn't my place.
Asheville's football stadium has a really nice setting. Shelby has played some playoff games up there. I believe the last few years they have down some.
I mean, why would you try to go on the road. Let's have all of these high profile games at home.
Some how Crest gets a great team to come and play and then …. Well … you know ….
Our first two games are on the road. 1 where we beat Burns down and then Shelby gets a beating It could be vice-versa but who cares right?. Next year we'll go to Weddington and Asheville.
Your schedule should make you ashamed and the fact that it doesn't is concerning.

Reidsville asked to move up. That’s one thing.
You could play with most of us 5A schools right now. You chose not to do so.
Then you rag on our schedule. Because we get the home games this year. First two on the road next two at home. It switches the next year.

Reidsville's ADM numbers are in the 4A range. They do not have less people than 3A numbers. So once again, you're "request to play up" is stupid to say. That doesn't happen. We're going to play where we belong just like you. No doubt you'll be heavily favored over us this year. That's ok. Doesn't bother me at all. We know what the upcoming season will look like but we're excited about the future.
