He has been talking about getting out of it for a while. He has young kids and he works long hours and he just wanted to have a more set schedule make more money and spend time with his wife and kids. There is actually no other reason but just a change and spend more time with family and a job opportunity opened up that he couldn’t turn down.
I miss the days where you just played for the school where you lived and grew up.....

I agree with you that he was really good but I just didn't see him near the level of Izay Bridges, Antwan Wright, or the best I have ever seen play wide receiver in high school Jayden Borders. Those 3 did not caught from behind including when they were in the 10th grade. Also Thompson had some good wide receivers on the field with him.

You may have to give them a pass this time lol. Shelby is in a conference with nine teams will only allow them to schedule two non-conference games that will more than likely be KM & Crest. Probably not the idea way to start their season lol.
Coach Sowell and Coach Lloyd seem to have a pretty good relationship. It seems both like the challenge of competing against the other.
It is difficult for many powerhouse programs to get non-conference games that are not rivalry games unless they are willing to play up in classification or play other powerhouse programs in the same classification. There is a lot of ducking and running from smoke by some of these schools in NC.
