Shelby had nearly 400 yards of offense.
ACR had about 120.
ACR had -8 yards rushing and 40 yards passing in the first half. 32 total yards.
ACRs first two scores they started with the ball on about Shelby's 20 or 25.
ACR also had a punt return for a td.
Shelby probably had 125 yards in penalties.
Gotta clean it up.
ACR didn't beat Shelby. Shelby beat Shelby.
Statistically even game against KM save a 4-1 turnover difference.
Absolutely dominated ACR.

You are correct, offensively you did dominate, however those yards gained in Special Teams count for something and we dominated those yards. Those 2 scores that started on 20 and 25 were because we had great kickoff return and you muffed a punt, that’s special teams. That punt return for an TD, that’s special teams. All three phases of the game determine an outcome not just the offense. Our coaches preach winning special teams because that can determine a game and tonight it did. Also our punter did a hell of a job flipping the field when we were backed up, again special teams.
Keep us updated if Crest gets any Burns players Monday.

The worse part is adults are lighting a kid up who has a legit move. Why would he leave a Gaffney program where he was a starter, A Sr and playing for the #2 program in SC to go to a new school where he's not the starter and leave a place he's been for 4 years. There's more to this story and I wish the young man and his family well.

Not getting into the above again. All I wanted to say is we will be fine in the 2A side of things. Offensively we are fine and defensively we won't see an offense like that again. Crest will no doubt be a tough out in the playoffs. On to another tough one next week with KM. Different type of animal over there. Stout defense and a decent offense. Devine will ensure a good practice this week and get us back on track.

Burns was blow for blow in 1st quarter and that Burns offense is tuff to stop I think y’all are okay..Ben looked good running the ball and Crest had a plan of rotating players in 1st and it worked well..but that was 2 good teams there last nite
You have a fantastic offense. Your defense isn’t bad with 9 new starters. I think depth is the issue.
They got tired. But Ben is fantastic and the backs are elusive and quick.
