I took him and Bess to supperclub. Both great kids.kids. ive enjoyed getting to know them.
Yes good kids from good families.....I'm really happy for both of them....and you are correct all cc schools
Have kids transfer in from all over the place!

How many yards did camron end up with tonight?

I know he had like 5 or 6 passes over 40 yards.... Got to watch it alongside Shelby game but had volume down... Tickles this old man to death to see some of my kids from years ago playing well.... Great kids....from great families...

I'm not sure but it was so good to see dave open the offense up ! Let's keep it rolling vs. Crust

Observations from tonight’s games

1. Shelby could go 16-0 this year. Bess and his receivers appear to be unstoppable. KM will be only team to challenge them.
2. KM showed great poise battling back from 20 point deficit. That will come in handy in tight games down the line.
3. Crest at Burns game next week shaping up to be a dandy.
4. Kujuan Pryor is the Greek God Hermes visiting earth. Kid is phenomenal.
5. Jury is still out on Crest after beating a beat up SP squad w 3rd string QB and UNC signee Ray Grier Rose out.

Spot on as always x champ. Yes crust and burns is a very Interesting matchup now .

Hats off to Shelby, offense is just special. ACR hung tough for a half, but the long pass to start second half just deflated us and from there it was over. So happy these past three weeks are over, Crest, EF, and Shelby have taken their toll on us. Hopefully we will regroup and play well from here on out. I know we won’t face anyone better than EF or Shelby the rest of the way and that includes the playoffs! Best of luck to Shelby, it’s the best I’ve seen them in a long time!

Reynoldsrock hats off to u guys....much respect.
Ive said all week ACR is alot better they people realize.
Get back a few on the injury list and u guys could go deep in playoffs.
Patterson is special player....i like the switching of Qbs ..good luck rest of way to you guys

Thanks! Told Wilbanks after the game that we just beat a solid AC team. He agreed. We are just on another level this year. Probably the best receiving trio Shelby has ever had...not the single best receiver(s) (although Mitchell may make that case this year)...but as a trio, man, who do you cover? And with an o line that has gelled like they have this early in the season, Bess has all day long to find an open receiver.

I predict AC to go deeeeep in the playoffs. Maybe even make a title run. I look forward to watching for their scores each week. EF is ranked #2 in the state over all classifications, Shelby is ranked #6 over all classifications. 2 incredibly tough opponents for ACR in the first two weeks.

Question for AC fans. How do Shelby and EF compare?

Very few people picked Burns to win and used last week as the main reason. Burns lost to a good KM team but hurt themselves while doing so. We did not execute. Tonight I saw what I knew we had and that is weapons. We utilized all of them. Burns was nothing but dominant. I was listening to the KTC post game show and people kept saying Devine and company were being questioned after last week. I personally thought the staff did a hell of a job calling the game both weeks. Tonight we played like the team we knew we had. We have a new challenge next week with Crest. Felt good to see that tonight, can we do it next week?

congrats to shelby. way too much offense for us. our secondary wasnt very good tonite and credit that to your qb n receivers.shelby compares very well to east forsythe in my opinion. east has a little advantage at the qb position. sizewise east forsythe is one of the biggest high school teams ive ever seen. i dont think your qb could have 2 minutes per play to throw the ball on them like he did tonite. speed wise i think shelby would have a big advantage though.i think it would be a great game to watch those two play. not complaining but what the hell was the officials doing at the end of the first half? 12 seconds to play n shelby throws incomplete. the clock starts after the play n goes to 6 seconds. refs then reset the clock back to 12 seconds.lol didnt cost us anything. just a dizzy bunch of refs looked like to me. good luck to u guys the rest of the way.

should have been 9 sec on clock..i was looking at it when imcomplete pass hit ground and refs blew dead....i dont think it was on 12 at start i thought it was on 16...

I know I give the lions a hard time, but I don't see anybody in 2A/2AA coming within 28 points of them. They should petition to play small 3A(join Huss and Monroe) when South Point moves up. There's NO competition in 2A(maybe Burns...maybe) its like they're playing JV.

Should have tried to schedule Dillon or Huss for next week...or Reidsville

You are absolutely right... Shelby will obliterate anybody in 2A! Can Burns give them a game? Yep, just look at last year when Burns upset Shelby, anything can happen in rivalry games.. It can happen.. Will it? Not this year... South Point could also give Shelby a strong test... But no one beats Shelby this year except Shelby, and I'm not even sure Shelby can beat Shelby

Went with a co-worker of mine from Shelby to go watch them tonight for the first time since I played against them back in '06 @ Pisgah. And WOW! You guys have one of (if not) the best 2-A team that I've ever seen. Make no mistake, that was a veryyy good team that y'all destroyed tonight. You can be humble all you want, but you guys will not lose a single game this year. It's just not gonna happen. This will go down as one of the best Shelby teams of all time. Glad I can say that I got to see them play. Good luck to the Golden Lions the rest of the way!

This young man, Jahari Mithchell, had a night to remember. Play of the night at the 1:11 mark, just an amazing display of footwork, agility. Know in advance that I am in no way trying to show up AC Reynolds in any way, they could easily post their star player Jhari Patterson’s effort, just simply sharing this young man’s amazing night.

This looks to be one of those Shelby teams, elite special, historic. The offensive line is just playing lights out, that receiving trio is just special, Bess at quarterback looks special. The D flies to the ball. Opposing quarterbacks have little to no time to throw the ball. But, before I make any premature proclamation, gotta see what they do vs the county. As for 2AA/2A, I don’t see ANYONE coming within two touchdowns of this bunch, that’s just my honest opinion.

I was very impressed last night with the Shelby offense as I was last week. But fellows just remember it is only August and the Lions are a injury or two away from being not nearly as good.
