I'd like to keep up with Cleveland County Basketball on here.

Burns has a good start to the season (3-0) with all three in blowout fashion. Albeit against lesser competition in Patton, Chase and West Lincoln.
Shelby isn't scheduled to play their first game until 12/10....waiting on football
Crest's first game is also scheduled for next week (12/11)
Kings Mountain started 0-1 with a close loss to Cox Mill.

What are the expectations coming out of each team this year?

KM lost five of their top seven players from last season to either transfer or injury. Two of Lincolnton’s starters played for KM last season, KM lost another player to Bessemer City, KM lost Bradley Floyd who holds multiple D1 offers to a private school, and lost Caleb Nixon who received his first D1 offers over the summer to a knee injury that will keep him out all year. Four of those five players lost were returning starters. KM does have some young talent that have been forced into varsity play. Needless to say that the Mountaineers went from state title contenders to a team fighting to be .500 within the last three months.

Crest has 3 starters back in Pass, Pettis, and Surratt. Lost Adams to gradation and King Rhodes transferred to Charlotte Catholic. Had an undefeated JV so those guys are moving up. Interested in seeing what the new additions can add in Jahari Mosely, Ely Hamrick, and Turner McSwain. We know they are great athletes watching football.

Yea, I knew about the transfers but not about the injuries. That's a tough break for KM.

Burns @ KM tonight. Regardless of your current situation, this will be Burns toughest game to date.

Yeah the Nixon kid who got hurt in the preseason has Lawndale roots. His mom’s side of the family has produced some pretty good athletes for Burns through the years. Losing Floyd first to transfer and then Nixon to injury was pretty devastating.
