It was line play. This game was won in the trenches!
No excuses I'm not Mt Airy fan but their offense and basic play calling did them in.
Corvian has a very good team. Tough loss, but a good year all the same. I enjoyed it. I was impressed by the size of the corvian d line and speed at the same time. Rest of the playoffs should be interesting. Good luck to the remaining teams. And to the one having their schadenfreude, enjoy.
You got to remember that MA isn’t much different than a charter school. With MA being a city school anybody in the county can go there.
Went exactly like i predicted it would minus the score, I had it being 28-21 but 14-7 instead. Corivan had a great gameplan and they rose up to the occasion. That offense they run is perfect for their talent. Line stepped it up totally as well.
Hate it for Martin, he's a good kid. All it's gonna do is inspire him to a killer season next year though.

No excuses. We absolutely got out coach on offense play calling. Our defense did good but shame on the play calling. You can’t force the pistol play after play. Everyone in the world knew what we were gonna do. It is not on the head coach, Coach Taylor did a heck of a job with the defense. It is time to move on from the pitiful excuse of offense calling. We showed exactly how bad we miss JK and good of a coach he was. You don’t go away from the triple option that was almost unstoppable. Shame on you coach. #4 don’t hold your head down because of the fumble you played your heart out, you just wasn’t given the opportunity to shine. I am proud of the run and I sure hope with the changes coming up we will be better. Always Go Bears!!!!!

Absolutely we miss our QB from last two years, this year was inconsistent. We will be back next year

Corvian quick on D was difference and MA play calling predictable but MA pretty.much a 1 trick pony. Corvian #5 was stopped so many times in backfield and would juke out of it. Kicker was a weapon. Bears fumble driving to tie game. Corvian well coached and I think have a shot winning it all. Bears came out flat after.comi g out fired up last week.... Congrads Corvian you are real deal. Bears making to 4th rd very good as they are who I thought they were. Just never had a leader step forward. MA Srs. 57-3 pretty.good. Go Bears!

One glaring thing that stands out is why we wasted an offensive talent like #15 this year. Besides #4 he was our biggest offensive threat and our offense play calling wouldn’t use him and it seemed like the only one the QB wanted to throw to was #1. We really wasted a playmaker. The big slant pass worked perfect last week. Middle of field was open from first play and not once did we even try it. Why??
