Came out flat. Not much energy. Catholic was missing a run stopper in the middle of the line with a concussion, but he should be back for round 1 in two weeks.
That 80yrd TD was a fake punt that the Catholic coaching staff called and was ready for, we just did not execute.

Catholic overall was sloppy tonight, but we did learn some things. Trey Lagaley #65 is very valuable. He plays DT and was out with a concussion, Providence was able to run on Catholic much more regularly than other teams have this season. His force was missed inside, but we should have him back for the playoffs.
Catholic came out slow in the 1st half. Flat really. They did have a 21-14 halftime lead, but it could've been more. Just execution was not on point, but I feel confident they'll be just fine in 2 weeks. Hats off to Brady Berger, another good game through the air. At least 2 TD passes and a DIME of a pass to Michael Neel down the sidelines which was one of the prettiest balls I have seen thrown in a while. Perfect placement.
Milan Howard and Jack Brigham got theirs tonight. Howard put an exclamation point on the night with a 67yrd burst in the 4th.
Michael Neel also had 2 TDs receiving tonight, he is proving to be a very versatile player, similar to David Herlocker for those who remember him.
All in all the second half Catholic got stops on D and really just played much more inspired football it seemed.
Also prayers to the Providence player who was hurt in the 2nd quarter tonight. Looked really ugly. Wish him the best.
