Can JK beat Clinton?

Well i would expect to see a pissed off Clinton team Friday night with alot to play for with possible a conf title and major playoff seeding on the line......i hope for a Clinton victory but after last night not sure what to expect......all about how they respond
Its going to be a tough game anyone expecting a blowout i wouldnt bet the farm on it.....Clinton offense without Jalen is not the same and of course we have to worry about #5 and the JK passing game against our weak pass defense
Yes,I've made it a point to follow these teams from the Southeast area closely this year. I should say Ive followed most of the threads up here that involve teams from the ECC and other surrounding areas. I came to the conclusion that I don't know anymore now than I did at the beginning of the season. Every time I think I have it figured out I come up wrong.
Yea you don't know much about down east football, get out of your hole up there and come watch LoL kinda simple. No one is worried about NE promise you that. Clinton WRH or even JK will beat NE. This is where real football is played

After the last two weeks anyone who says they can predict the ECC is fooling themselves.
Like the ACC in basketball on any given night if you dont bring your "A" game you can be beat.....ECC definitely one of the most competitive conferences in 2A always has been
Hopefully Donte Mclellan makes his return this week aswell i keep hearing he is close been out since that Aug 31st Northside-Jax game.....we could really use him in the defensive backfield and as a runner/receiver aswell
Smith,Mclellan,Kaba etc etc i haven't seen the injury bug this busy at Clinton in years
Anything can happen but I agree that Clinton will be very pissed and jk is not all that. They caught ED with their pants down so to speak and capitalized on each mistake that resulted in points. Clinton should have their way with the tigers. Go Horses.
Its funny to see all us rivals rooting for each other cause a Clinton victory and ED victory would mean a conf championship for the Panthers.....of course us Clinton folks are rooting for Wallace and a win over JK....JK would need a win and a East Duplin win....and Wallace needs a win and a JK win

Maybe not such a strong response but let's be real. Their conference is no way as competitive as the ECC. The ECC is arguably the best 2A conference in the state. Northeastern will have homefield cause they're undefeated because THEY DO NOT PLAY ANYONE! Like it or not, it's the truth. They say they try to schedule tougher competition and no one wants to travel that far. Maybe not but thats not our fault just like playing in a WEAK conference is not their fault. Folks just get tired of hearing how good Northeastern is each year when they play middle school opponents compared to who Clinton East Duplin Wallace and Sothwest play. The truth hurts. Why should Wallace or Clinton who have really been battle tested have to travel 2-3 hours to play a number one seed who has not Earned that seeding?
This last week is gonna be very interesting. I know we need a win against ED, which will be tough as always, and we need jk to beat Clinton to become ECC Champs. That being said, personally I hope Clinton beats the ever living dog crap outta jk.
Don't worry, talk up here means nothing. Who shows up to play come playoff time is all that matters. I'm a Northeastern guy so I will defend my team. Last year our game against WRH could have very easily been won by us and if so we more than likely would've won the state c'ship. I know we earned some respect last year from my WRH friends. I also believe we are more danger this year. When I say we're the better team, I really mean that. That's no disrespect, it's truly what I believe. Just prove me wrong and I'll give you credit
NE wouldn’t have beat Reidsville last year, goob. Y’all just wouldn’t have had enough defense to stop them.

Very true. He's a homer to the fullest and has no idea what's going on in highschool football. They try to schedule teams that have storied programs is funny, one team will take the bait if you keep trying promise you that. NE is a decent team, not taking away from them, but geez man Take the blinders off for once. Take a trip down east watch some teams, ED, Clinton, WRH, SWO, then go home and admit football is different down here. Thanks for your view on this topic.

Northeastern had a great football team last year. In all due respect and I have had a lot of respect for SWO over the years particularly in early 2000's but be glad your stallions didnt play Northeastern last year. It wouldn't have been pretty. Pray you don't play them early this year. Just keeping it resl
I think northeastern last year would have just outscored every team in 2a, maybe in 2aa playoffs. They just could not stop 3,21,11.
You seen them play? Not sure what your basing this post off? NE looks average at best on film...... But this is why we play the game. Think Clinton or Wallace will get a shot at them before SWO. Def arnt scared of NE. Driving up there is a task in it's self, to get off the bus and play your best ball. But think your buying into the hype train. They almost to a terrible currituck team 21-14. They are one dimensional and won't be able to run at or through SWO promise you that.

Remember what I said when I tell you I told you so. Yes I've seen them play last year and this year. This isn't 2005 which in fact was a good year for the DarkHorses too!
How can you say that, that's ridiculous. We put up 50 on yall last year, so what was the difference between your defense last year and ours? That Friday night you guys were the better team, but I can assure you that our team was just as good as yours. To say we couldn't beat Reidsville was a little off base.
