Quick question to all the fans of any university in the STATE of NC... Why aren't more state schools recruiting this young man? 6-1 200 SS/OLB playing at the 4A level. I mean there is a reason why BAMA WINS year in and year out... ALREADY offered by them but only ECU has offered from in state. I'm a UNC fan and they are now showing interest but whats the hold up...?!?!? All the state schools are loosing the battles for the top tier kids... Why do y'all think that is??? At any rate, this kid should be on ALL the list...

What's baffling is that from my research he has GREAT grades (I mean mostly As in honors and college level classes/middle college/Fall graduate)... Not to mention he is a 4 star recruit with 5 total offers ranked 7th in the state and 277th nationally. I mean like what's the
HOLD UP?!?!?!

Dead period just ended on the 14. Lot of schools making last minute run for 2016 class. National signing day in 3 weeks. Official visits going on. In State Schools will be all over him, before the Spring.

Very true Nepsy... Man of great wisdom! Just a timing issue. I just hate that BAMA came in and got to him so fast right up under our noses... Not meaning to offend the Bama supporters, but sheesh... I just keep noticing a pattern of outside schools taking our guys... Like why is yall's 4 STAR DT still waiting on a unc offer... We should have been first in line... I know it's a very intricate process to an extent, but man we need to stop the bleeding...

S2V- That call gets made EVERY year... Who wouldn't flirt with a few more Mill every possibly... But he has THE best job in college and knows the pros give you a 1 year deal to be AWESOME OR BUST...

I wouldnt call it flirting sir. In these beautiful days, I call it rape. If I was Sir Master Saban, I would stay there and continue breaking records. Now, he might get bored though and as always money talks...

1 year deal to be AWESOME OR BUST:
You're correct because dont them college greats go to the pros and all the sudden they become something other than GREAT?

Yea... Some of them get portrayed as if they have never coached before. I think just like in teaching... It's your relationship building style that makes you great as a coach. Have to know your own strengths as a man... If you identify well with kids then that maybe where you need to be... If you can get a room of ADULTS who, for some coaches, are just a few years younger to have such a great level of respect that they cross the burning sands for you then NFL may work on a consistent basis. BC at that level you hire DCs and OCs that are all great at what they do... Let's face it an "Omaha" and a "wide 2 banana" can mean the same thing in ever ones locker... Audible and some routes... There only one route tree and only 4-5 gaps to run through on each side of the ball. Ain't but some many different blocking techniques.... No mystery here. Just a matter of if you can get them to BELIEVE in YOU as a coach... Will YOUR message either translate to those adults or to those children...

But dont you think Nick is past the kindergarten lever sir?

I mean I have seen multiple videos of him with his team in practice, in adult meetings, ect...... his record it speaks volume. I believe he is at the adult/coffee/big cuban cigar/ legs manly crossed/Banana republic hat level in great comfort to take good control of the NFL Big Boys.

To be honest I haven't studied his interactions w the adults but I know he has a strong grasp on the mental of these youngsters

Most NFL HC jobs are for three years minimum. Tomsula is getting paid for another two years unless he gets another NFL HC position. Most think Saban would command a five year deal but if he did go who is complaining about three years at $10 million and yes that is the range he would get.

I agree he already has the best gig in the game but partly because of himself. When Shula rolled out and he rolled out it was nothing like he has built it back up to. Bama was king in the 60's and 70's but since then it was sporadic until Saban arrived on The Capstone.

When you have the money he has and look at the difference between what the NFL would pay and what Alabama pays, it is not about the money. There is something that drives these guys more than money and it is usually ego or desire.

Looks like Nepsy is a man of GREAT wisdom. He is now one of the HOTTEST prospects in the nation right now....

he attends the middle college at A&T. a great academic program. They do not have sports so he plays for his some school which is Grimsley

I though in NC if you were home schooled you could not play sports in the public school system.

It's not home school. It's a program offered by A&T where you graduate with your Diploma and 2 years of transferable college credits. CPCC and Charlotte offers a similar program.
