I assume Rocky Mount Prep and Hobgood Charter opted out - otherwise 1A looks good to me. There will be a delay period to give time for coaches to ask about changes, before brackets are finalized.

Some People with no team in it or that has a team and have never even posted it before is taking things some of us have done for years. You can bet this is the last year I set and wait as I have the last 5 or more years. It is starting to be no use in some of us trying to post the things we used to. No, the big problem is the SMC thinks they own the playoffs and should win a state championship every year and that has come to an end until this year so far ! By the way you are on here, are you a MAN or a BOY, lol, how many times have you checked today to see where your SMC stands ?
Also giving an extra week for the Western Mountains was great in my opinion but 11 games was just downright stupid if you were going to have your 10 games for the season.
Some in the SMC are pissed that they have not won a State Championship in several years. I can remember when it was a split 1A 2A they were on here posting just like the teams down here are so that is why you and others are not posting ! Go back and look at all the posts from the SMC for Robbinsville last year.

Been a few years since Murphy has snagged a state championship. I dont know anyone who is mad about it. You take the good seasons with the bad. Mt Airy is having a great run right now. At some point, it will end. I know some folks put all their eggs in a high school football basket, and thats cool. I will always be a fan of MHS football, but for me personally, theres way more to life than getting worked up over winning a state championship. GO DOGS!
I was actually at that game and stood next to some SMC fans that were cheering for Mount airy
I've seen that happen in our area. It's hard for fans to pull for their local rivals
I just don't think I have too many more years to back my BEARS and I am just going to do it as long as I can and I will not get into that part, I try not to think about it but I can't help it since, well never mind.

Sorry if I made some mad today by trying to do something I always do but I sat here and on the right NCHSAA page and had other NCHSAA pages open and it never came on any of the normal pages and the page that the Preliminary brackets were on also and it never showed up there until it was posted here and after a while, it went away while I was waiting for the final brackets and has not been there or were you click brackets. I have navigated the NCHSAA website for years and when the person posted the final brackets I searched the whole site and could not find what was posted. I will leave it to the ones in the know from now on because this BEAR fan doesn't care and will cut back on what I post as I have most all year. Tired of being hated for trying to post things helpful to everyone and catching hell for it ! ! ! I was having a great day unlike most of my days and it got screwed.

You would probably have fun on this.
