I would say in the east. Dem Dogs from Teachey nc. Entire Offensive line returning except the center. By the way won’t be easy to replace Stampe. But with the rest of the line returning. WRH will be in the mix. Irving Brown and Corbin Kerr both will be about 200 pounds each. Irving is in the weight room getting stronger. Corbin is benching over 300+ Just heard from my cousin WRH is getting a coach from Clinton…❤️

Top 10 points scored last fall

1. Princeton 717
2. East Duplin 698
3. WRH 675
4. Reidsville 640
5. Burns 635
6. Monroe 625
7. CHASE 620
8. Hertford 606
9. Holmes 596
10. East Surry 571

CSD has been waxing everyone in 7v7 - returning 2 of the top 2 receivers in the state and a huge TE. Their QB threw 50 TD’s last year and sat out half the game every game. Could have thrown for 70.

They will always be in the discussion for top offense in 2A. Very complex offense.

Community school of Davidson. That's a joke. Inferior competition and a defense giving up as much or more than they score. Let let them go up against good athletes see how good those two receivers are then. But great point they do have a prolific offense. Against inferior competition. Let's see how they do against those top 10 offenses defenses.

Not to mention since you probably know so much football 7 on 7 is a joke.

No body ever uses 7 on 7 as a measure of how good a team is going to be. They look average on offense in the film I saw. And that was against average teams. They just keep throwing it. What happens though is when they get deed up and a rush happens they can't do squat. It's all fine in 7 in 7 when the QB is not getting tagged. Bring him to pilot. Or Mayberry. Or Thomasville or tarboro etc etc. See how average it is.

I remember posting that Perris from Princeton rushed for 500 yards against Cummings after that 2nd round playoff game. Perris became the leading rusher in the state, passing Avery from West Lincoln, that night. That’s why it stood out so much to me.

However, I failed to notice that Paylor rushed for 401 yards and 7 TD’s that night as well. Good grief!
Cummings gave Princeton all they wanted but came up short in the shoot out…Princeton 63 Cummings 55. Just saying.

Paylor is coming back and the QB is too…Cummings’ offense should put up some big numbers this fall as well.

I may have to come down off the mountain to catch a game this year.

Princeton wasn’t a good team they had the #1 seed. Don’t know how they beat east Duplin. When 2 teams score that many points no defense played
I must disagree…they’re the only one that beat the champs.

The puzzling thing to me is how WRH beat Princeton so convincingly.

Sooo…I read the score tracker for the game…which could be inaccurate…but it says that Princeton’s first 3 possessions ended with “turnover on downs” and all were on their side of the 50….I’m talking like…their 41, their 32, and their 44. Have mercy. That’s tough for any defense….especially playing against the Rosebuds!

I’m sure if this is inaccurate …one of the dawgs will straighten me out.

I’m just an outsider looking in…but it appears to me that Princeton ain’t giving the ball up unless you stop them and they must be pretty good at it too…considering that they scored more than anyone else in 2a.

The Princeton “We Ain’t Punting” Bulldogs are coming!😂

They run the single wing. 3 yards on every play leads to lot of 4th and 1’s and if your averaging 3yrds+ a play, easy decision.

They beat East Duplin early in the season. Wallace beat Princeton because the Wrh Bulldogs were the better team. Princeton couldn’t do nothing offensively against WRH DEFENSE. They couldn’t stop our offense. WRH had the closest games to the state champion ED including the state championship game. ED and Wrh was even across the board. The difference was ED had a bunch of seniors that wanted it more. WRH was super young last season. Let’s see how it play out that tables turnt this season

Wallace is usually light years better than everyone most years. Is it football season yet?
The reason for that they work hard. Most theses kids haven’t took time off. They go right into training once the season ends. When your out working your competition you don’t have any competition. Once the season start you don’t gotta get ready…your ready! Day 1

WRH and Clinton boys, how good of a matchup you think it’ll be in week 2. Thinking of coming down off the mountain for that one. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve been to C-town.

WRH will be tough to deal with. That offensive line is returning and fellas that is the key to their offense. I watch them a lot and their offensive line is coached as well as any I have ever watched. A couple of years ago they beat us in the playoffs and they beat our defensive line off the ball all night. Only team that did that all year. I watched them against Shelby in the championship and sitting up high it was easy to see the execution of that line. I expect them to be right there in the mix come Eastern Finals time.

It should be worth the drive. Clinton supposed to have a bunch of D-1 talent. Dem Dogs reloaded and ready to hunt.
Clinton is more than just 2 guys with D-1 offers. Clinton only graduated 9 seniors and returns 16 starters from a team that was a pretty solid towards the end of the year and a missed two point conv away from beating the eventual state champion. Having two guys with D1 offers is cool but we got a lot of kids with talent aswell

Where is Clinton U darkhorse#34 Having D1 players is good but not worth a hill of beans if it don’t transition to the field. Reading post up here you would think Clinton whole team is D-1. We’re going to know early WRH opening with Havelock game 1. A lot of programs go schedule cupcake non-conference games. Personally I think it does a disservice to the athletes. schedule someone competitive win or lose its competition

I can say the same about Wallace and a couple other teams up here everyone is talking up their teams at no point did I say the whole team is D-1 I just said in a previous post the team is more then two guys. And as far as those two goes it translates pretty damn well to the field. And Clinton U is just a nickname that some players started using…..the Horse Shoe used in the schools logo looks like a “U”.

Just a nickname I like it no different than when we called ourselves the beast of the east back in the day. Looks nice on a t-shirt
