SWO is scheduled to hit the field from 5-8 this evening. I know some teams started at midnight this morning and a lot of different times. Will be interesting to see #s for the different area teams. New varsity players as well as returning starters from last year. Let the un-biased opinions run amuck :p

I know you guys lost the kid who went to Oklahoma, how about the rest of those hosses? That line last year was massive.

From the pics of the weight room in the paper looks like SWO has "The Beef" again this year. Think our biggest loss was Jordan, who was one of the top running backs in the state last year. As the ground game goes so goes the Stallions. Big line and a stable of backs are our signiture. The Orange Crush Defense aint too shabby either.

Where is Jordan playing ball at this year?

Havnt seen anything on him. Lot of the seniors are playing at the next level this year. I know Green decomited from Okla. and went to a school somewhere in the east, dont remember where. Quite a few of Okla. commits bailed out also.

I thought Green was going into the service

He enrolled at OU in Jan 19. Now he is listed as a Transfer to VANDERBILT. He also made visits to Georga and Virginia.
I researched it again. Kid said he was going to the Navy then a week later decided he wanted to postpone a military career for football

Big decision for a 17/18 year old kid to make. God bless him. When I was that age I was trying to decide whether to hang out in Topsail or emerald isle. Could not imagine the pressure these kids have to deal with.

I saw that Jordan was going to Lenoir-Rhyne
Last year y’all talked like it would be a crime if Nick Saban didn’t come calling. I’m glad to see “the best running back in the state” has made it to the powerhouse of Lenoir Rhyne

Opinions aside, he was the stat leader in 2A and 2AA. Ranked 6th in the entire state. That was excluding the last game stats. So are we biased, YES. Give us Stallion fans some FACTS that prove otherwise and we will change our mind.

Only fact needed is Lenoir-Rhyne. I’m sure y’all will have another RB this season rack up 3,000 yards when he is running against Dixon and Croatan every week LMAO

Kid was a good back. But let’s be realistic most of his yards came in conference play. Almost willing to bet the farm that a couple of solid JV programs in 3A could have finished 2nd in your conference. You had one expert whooo hyped the kid up so bad about all these division 1 schools who offered him and well you know the rest.

You make it sound like SWO has the only cup cake conference. Dont see ANY team that plays 10-15 top ranked teams in the state during the season. So I would say that a lot of stats are filled with games against lesser caliber teams/players. Lot of top ranked and champion teams from time to time have no Div 1 players. So what. If a player can go to any level collage on his ability and afforded a higher education, I applaud them. We all cannot be State Champion Teams every year ...Now can we .... ;)

Jordan put up big numbers against the big boys as well. Against Northeastern in the east regional final, he ran for 191 yards and 3 TDs. The week before (round 3), Jordan had 225 yards and a couple of TDs vs Wallace-Rose Hill.

Jordan is playing football for the D3 powerhouse of Lenoir Rhyne

Did you play college football as a scholarship athlete?

Naw, he's a keyboard coach and player. Has nothing to talk about with his team, if he has one. He's still butt hurt over the beat down our lowly Div 3 players put on the tigers in 2013 Eastern Div Finals. NOthing but keyboard play from him.
