My bad Thanks Too many games tonight.Queen City is in Area 3
But it looks like georgia doesn't have any teams this year going to regionals.so they may take 3 nc teams.I’ve kept up with the games and have seen a few here and there. Both of those teams should be in it and would be better than most of the teams in it. Don’t get why only one team gets in, besides Cherryville. It’s the best division in the state every year and you let one in because they host it and then leave another team out which is better than Cherryville. Like the other poster said, it’s a shame.
But unfortunately it’s like the burns fan said, Shelby or Asheville will left out.But it looks like georgia doesn't have any teams this year going to regionals.so they may take 3 nc teams.
Cherryville shouldn’t lose a game with the draw of Catawba County and Lincoln county guys and even the guys he gets from RutherfordBleedBurnsBlue (somebody try saying that five times real fast), I wish you wouldn't stir up all the guys towards Cherryville. There are Post 100 people reading these threads and some are pretty sensitive. You might drive them to drinking, and relatively speaking, Cherryville is a pretty dry place, at least since the Red Door closed down, and that's been a long time... If any of their old customers are still living (They would have to be 85 YOA or older), they probably don't even drink anymore, course, they probably don't drink any less, either... Consider this, there could be many Post 100 fans who would be good friends to you, and I'd venture to say you'd probably like them if given the chance...Well, maybe not... Anyway, couldn't you try being more neighborly.

This roster list is not completely correct. First of all Chandler Wooten is not on the Post 100 Senior roster. He is on the Post 100 Junior roster. Also there are two players not listed here that are on the final 18 man Senior roster. They are:

As Mr. Lincolnton implied there is lots of anti-Cherryville posting going on on this thread. Also some mis-information going on as well. Sounds like a lot of sour grapes. But it is not going to drive me to drink.Cherryville shouldn’t lose a game with the draw of Catawba County and Lincoln county guys and even the guys he gets from Rutherford
I agree with most of everything you said......except the Randolph thing. I heard a lot of complaints about them hosting for that long. That really shouldn't be allowed in my opinion. As Mr. Lincolnton implied there is lots of anti-Cherryville posting going on on this thread. Also some mis-information going on as well. First, I will address Cherryville Post 100's recruiting area and make up of this year's team. This year Post 100's base school was changed to Lincolnton High School. That means their base school is the closest base school to 5 high schools (Lincolnton, Cherryville, West Lincoln, North Lincoln, and Maiden). It is not the closest base school for East Lincoln, Lincoln Charter, Burns, Crest, or East Rutherford. However, if a player's legal domicile is in Post 100 recruiting area then they obviously can play for Cherryville no matter what high school they attend. Also, there are a couple of players on this year's roster that received valid releases from other Area IV legion teams to play for Post 100. I can assure you all the players are legal.
The folks in Cherryville don't apologize for all their efforts to impress state and national officials to get state and regional tournaments. State officials made it known that they were not happy with how tournaments were run at other NC locations in recent years and were eager to consider Cherryville. If someone wants to say Cherryville is now running NC Legion because we have been awarded state and regional tournaments by the legion decision makers, then so be it. Cherryville gained the favor of the officials by working hard to support the vision the officials had for all aspects of a successfully run tournament. Their experiences from past Cherryville run tournaments, the great commitment from the community and the city government, stadium upgrades, and attention to the fan experience were all key factors they considered.
Hosting a legion tournament takes a lot of financial support as well as volunteer support. That's why you don't have many locations putting bids in for them. You can call it unfair for the host team to get an automatic bid but no program would host the tournament otherwise. Interesting I didn't see a lot of complaints about Randolph County getting a regional for 12 consecutive years but when Cherryville gets awarded some tournaments all of sudden it's so unfair. That's OK. The folks at Post 100 know we are the most hated team in Area IV because of our past successes. I invite anyone that can make it come to the tournaments In Cherryville. We welcome your opinion and input for any improvement in how we do it.
