Cherryville versus Caldwell County (At Granite Falls) are on the radio at this time. If you tune in, the volume might be loud so turn your speakers down before you do.

It's a shame that either Shelby or Asheville won't make the state. Both are very good teams.
I’ve kept up with the games and have seen a few here and there. Both of those teams should be in it and would be better than most of the teams in it. Don’t get why only one team gets in, besides Cherryville. It’s the best division in the state every year and you let one in because they host it and then leave another team out which is better than Cherryville. Like the other poster said, it’s a shame.
But it looks like georgia doesn't have any teams this year going to regionals.so they may take 3 nc teams.
But unfortunately it’s like the burns fan said, Shelby or Asheville will left out.
Well unfortunately NC legion is run by Bobby Dale and Cherryville and no one wants to address it. It really stinks that a Shelby or an Asheville will get left out due to an average cherryville team getting an automatic bid. Cherryville has no shot at winning a state championship this year so it’s a wasted spot.
Last year's Cherryville team was not good at all. This year's team will compete much better. They've got pitching depth and they're the only team to beat Shelby this year. The host team has always made the tourney. If that wasn't the case, no one would want to host. Last year 3 Area IV teams made it because it was another Area's turn to host but no one wanted to. This year it's Area IV's turn. So only two spots available. Cherryville getting two free rides to the state and then the next two years getting two free rides to the regionals is not right though. But that's life. The only thing fair in life is a ball hit between 1st and 3rd.
BleedBurnsBlue (somebody try saying that five times real fast), I wish you wouldn't stir up all the guys towards Cherryville. There are Post 100 people reading these threads and some are pretty sensitive. You might drive them to drinking, and relatively speaking, Cherryville is a pretty dry place, at least since the Red Door closed down, and that's been a long time... If any of their old customers are still living (They would have to be 85 YOA or older), they probably don't even drink anymore, course, they probably don't drink any less, either... Consider this, there could be many Post 100 fans who would be good friends to you, and I'd venture to say you'd probably like them if given the chance...Well, maybe not... Anyway, couldn't you try being more neighborly.
Cherryville shouldn’t lose a game with the draw of Catawba County and Lincoln county guys and even the guys he gets from Rutherford
iCav, I know they got one Catawba County player, from Maiden, the catcher. Never have seen a map of areas a team can draw from, but I got a feeling that some of would encompass a lots more eligible players than Cherryville has.

Oh, also, iCav, the East Rutherford Player could live in Cherryville and is a student at East Rutherford as a result of a parent teaching there, or at least, that’s what I’m thinking.
They have 2 maiden guys the best pitcher and the catcher, they have 2 guys from east Rutherford, they even have a kid from crest it’s also been said they cherryville moved their home school to Lincoln charter to make sure they get those kids, only 5 kids on the roster that’s cherryville kids.
Seems to me they could already get Lincoln Charter players.
