Lake Norman Charter, even though they are in the South Piedmont Conference for all other sports, plays an independent schedule (mostly 1a and 2a) and does not attempt to compete for a state playoff spot.
If this is somewhat of real They put the defending 3a state champs Hickory who are still undefeated and putting up great numbers, why are they at 7 and not 1...

Crazy that the top 2 in RPI wont win their league, and the current number 3 may not depending on the outcome of their game with Erwin.
I think this may have conference champs correct as of current scenario. If I have something wrong, no one come at me with both barrels, it can be edited. 😁

Yes, and it is crazy that the North Lincoln-Hickory game was not even close. It could be different a 2nd time around but the first was a woodshed whooping score-wise.
The best that Crest can finish in the Big South is 3rd so they cannot get the number 1 seed. ACR and Erwin game can also shake up the top.
Pretty sure all but 2 conferences champs are already settled as stated in a previous post. Crest high RPI would give them the highest seed after conference champions are seeded by RPI.
*Exception could be with parkwood(because of their record).
From what I understand, if AC Reynolds beats Erwin they are the #1, you guys are the #2. Crest will be the #10

Looks like NL has bumped Crest to 11. Cramer game did Crest no favors and NL is now 1 in the RPI and Crest 2. Erwin/ACR could also have an impact on who is the top rated after con champs.
You can takeout Lake Norman Charter. They're not in a conference and is playing as a independent school.
