A solution that probably would work but most would hate

A future potential problem in 1A sports is that there may not be enough schools field teams to fill a playoff bracket. Here is a proposal that I think would work (I can already here the screams). Do not have a rigid classification system. Not every sport in a school would be in the same class. Take the number of schools fielding a sport and divide by 8. That gives you the class they would participate in. Let's look at a school like Eastern Randolph. In a sport such as football where many smaller schools don't offer football, then they would probably drop to 2A. In basketball where it seems every school fields a team, then they would probably be a 3A . Conferences would not need to change as we already have split conferences. Consider it and then ready aim fire.

Do not see anything wrong with it.
So to get put into place, all you have to do is figure out how the Raleigh Right Wing Thief’s can profit from it and it will be forced upon before the next full moon.
