This has nothing to do with the final score or who won the game between pisgah and franklin..pisgah won a hard fought game 21-14..in general a well played game with 50 hs kids simply playing a game they love..coach brooks and coach chappell had a friendly conversation before the game and after the game coaches and players shook hands without incident and as after every home game for years franklin gathers around near the 30 yrd line for coach brooks to address the team..its at this point several pisgah fans began screaming and both brooks brothers...lets just say profanity was involved and both coaches had there own kids with them as they do after every game..this was unprovoked and its sad when a 7 and 9 yr old have to ask there dad " daddy why are they saying those things..those are some very bad words"..and for the movie yall referenced..a former student at frankin contacted them about doing a documentary for his senior dissertation at WCU..i could go on and on but its no use..its sad though when 50 kids and 20 coaches can compete for 48 minutes then shake hands and have mutual respect for each other then adults have to show there ass in this way..its no secret who you are but theres no reason to discuss that on here..even the saddest yet best part is several young men wearing pisgah uniforms came up and apologized for there fans behavior...truth is yes its a rivalry but coach brooks and coach chappell have mutual respect for each other ..but when adults act this way in front of young children there is no excuse.

It only takes a couple of jerks to make things look bad. But I've lived long enough to know that the majority of people are good people on both sides.
Let me clear one thing up...welcome slider 98..sounds like ive struck a nerve and sounds like you must be from pisgah..possibly even a chain gang member..and NOT ONE word of my post was hearsay...NOT ONE WORD..I simply stated facts unfortunately a few from Canton have issues w facts...this incident was witnessed by many from both sides...and the two main perpetrators were clearly spotted and identiies known. . Its a shame that incident took place after a other wise good football game...and to bears man and pb bear 51 yall been calling me by name for a year..so after rereading forum rules i see nothing about a coches brother not being able to post..so honestly no one loves sports much more than me so im going no where..i have fun poking pisgah..actually have a lot a respect for coach chappell and know coach warren...both good people...but bottom line the actions of A FEW where totally out of line Friday night...this is all i have to say on this issue...yes WIR and Milltownusa are the same poster...oh and yes im the coaches brother...
From all accounts coaches and players from both sides handled themselves w class and not one incident before or after game until unprovoked the verbal barrage took place..the only difference between the kids on those teams are the names on there jerseys ..both groups are well coached and play the game hard...
I’m not from Pisgah. I’m a Tuscola graduate, and played against Franklin in three sports during high school. I’d personally rather play Pisgah twice then have to play in that hell hole you all call the pit. Although we have a rivalry, there is a mutual respect for each other, and we do get along with one another. We would get screwed more during one Franklin game then all other games combined.
Yes i agree ..i ran into 4-5 pisgah fans at zaxbys...very polite..i simply said "great win tonight and good luck to yall going foward" they replied good luck to yall also and offered to help me carry a fairly large to go order to my vehicle..
I ask you a serious question Milltown USA. I parked my car in the parking lot and got out to the comments of piss on Pisgah and F Pisgah. Is not just as classy on your fans end? I heard the comments referencing the you tube video but there wasn't any profanity. Yes I saw who it was saying it before you ask.
You have good people, for the most part, everywhere in WNC (except downtown Asheville) and you have small groups of idiots. I wasn’t able to make it Friday night due to a family event, but was happy to get to watch the live stream by Backlot Cinema. They do an awesome job. Not sure if my in-laws were thrilled with me streaming it to the living room TV, though.

Sorry to hear that some Pisgah fans showed their ass over there. Every fan base has their share of idiots. No excuse for that kind of behavior.
No doubt if you heard that thats ridiculous from anyone claiming to be a fan..that wasnt a fan..that was idiots yelling that..as ive stated many times i enjoy poking pisgah but repect the program the staff and the passion..and clearly we have idiots also...
Ok. I agree with you on that. Now I ask you if the roles were reversed and your fans found out about a you tube video titled "undefeatable" with Pisgah coaches in it do you think think it would get brought up if you won? I think it would.
Those coaches had nothing to do w the name of the video and to be honest no clue it was on you tube..factual story is a student from wcu ask them to be part of documentary he was doing for senoir project/ dissertation...they only allowed the student and his crew to film and they answered questions..nothing to do with the title..and maybe im wrong but i think weve lost 4 games this year..bottom line pisgah won game but those actions especially in front of kids were wrong just like someone saying F pisgah
Agree. But you didn't answer the question. Would your fans do it after a win over us with the rivalry that has built up between the schools? I'm going to answer yes, they would, and you know it.
Franklin Fans were nothing but polite, friendly and humble in Ledger earlier this year, even after taking a 21 point whooping. Pisgah was in conference when I played, and I have to say, there were alot of jerks in the stands. Full grown adults yelling obscenities at high schoolers as we went on the field, and into the locker room. Of course, that was 15 years ago...
Franklin had beat Pisgah 8 of the last 10 they have played. So you don’t have to treat that scenario as a hypothetical.
We've witnessed stupid crap from your fan base as well. Your fans arent always humble and polite by any means. O well,Lombardi and the Packers play Brevard Friday night I'll move on this conversation is going to go nowhere. I think that's how we were referred to on the live feed at the half just after the comments about the lack of fans in the stand.

It's 2-2 last 4 games. As long as the coaches stay in place, I expect the series to be much more competitive over the next few years.
Ok I think we have all agreed fans from both sides have said things that should not be said at high school footbal gamel and things definitely get said in heat of the moment that people often regret...so franklin has come out victorious in the past this year pisgah won..no major injuries that im aware of...pisgah plays for conf title and home field and Franklin gets smoky for bragging rights and playoff seeding..best of luck...
So you know who I am as well.. It's all good...But if you are making the reference that I used profanity from the stands I assure you I did not. You can take and spin it however you want to... You can say that you know that did..you are dead wrong..I was not near your team at the 30 when they huddled up.. And to clear it up pbbears51 did not say a word from the stands and certainly did not use profanity either.. That's one thing he or myself will not do..... I'm sure posters will pile on that's all good as well... If someone did use profanity at your coaches that's on them.. I'll say a lot but that's one I thing won't do... Especially in public at a ball game.

Thanks for the reply i did not call anyone by name...as far as im concerned ive said what i wanted to say...id much rather be talking football and throwing jabs at pisgah on occasion. Like i said pisgah week is best week of the year for me..sure its more fun winning but this team isn't as talented as few in past but they did play as well and as hard as they could Friday and thats simply all anyone can ask...in each game theres a winner and loser...
Ill move on as well...just gonna clear up if you were pointing the profanity comments at me you were way off... I'll admit to you I have some resentment from 6 years ago when my son played at Pisgah and something that took place at your field with him... But not enough to curse in public...maybe just privately.
Bro first off you guys have great team if you were in mtn 6 you guys would win it. You are right about all the Canton idiots standing at the fence running their mouth . It's going to be so funny when they get home field in the playoffs and they get destroy , I am going to make a video of them idiots.
This is a great time to remind not just Pisgah fans & Franklin fans but all HS football fans. This is a game about kids, about kids win or lose putting in long hours of hard work. Building bonds, unity, relying on each other & having fun! As much as we all want our teams to win (and I love some poking -n- prodding on a message board) Us "adults" need to realize it all boils down to kids learning valuable life lessons. I know it's easy to get caught up in the moment. What I would say is we all need to step back, take a breath, & realize the examples we set for our children who both watch and play any HS sports. Sometimes we forget about fun and putting the kids first. We tend to put our own personal agendas ahead of these children. Adults......have fun, yuck it up on message boards, support your teams, but don't lose the perspective that this game & all HS activities are about kids having fun!!!
Does that go for their children that are under 10 also?
I watched the “undefeatable” video. If certain individuals are concerned with curse words, they may want to have that video removed. Their children could easily find and watch that video.
