Tarboro has had 1 drive. They scored on their first offensive play from over 50 yards out. Okay. They scored after returning an int to the 1. Cool. Their other score was a decent drive. So I can't say our defense is playing bad. However, theirs is playing lights out. I knew the edges weren't gonna be there, however, we are getting chunks of yards going straight at them. The problem is we have thrown 3 interceptions. 1 was earned. The defender went up and got it. But the second one was a throw directly to the safety and the third one was an overthrow that dropped directly into the safety's hand. I'd like to say that if it wasn't for those turnovers...but aren't turnovers a part other defense's job? The defense is doing their job and we don't seem to have an answer. I'd like to see us continue to pound it because at 3 yards a pop with 4 chances, we can do that all the way down the field. I thought throwing it would be our advantage but it has been the exact reason why we are getting shut out this far. And our players are getting frustrating penalties. Smh. It's been a long night thus far.
