Week #4 and it's the first friday night game for SWE. Will be posting updates IF I have reception. Bertie County is usually a no-fly zone for data. As for the game, it should be nothing more than a tune up for next week's matchup with Tarboro, but it is a full moon friday the 13th, so who knows? Lol. All things normal, coming out healthy should be the main concern. No updates, no reception.

SW ball. 20 yard opening run. 3rd play, 40yd td run. 7-0.

Bertie ball at own 45. 15 yard QB run. Next play, tipped ball, int at swe 45. 30yard td run called back, holding. 25yard td pass to All-Area receiver Keshon Porter. 14-0.

Bertie ball at own 30. Sack, fumble, loss of 8. Punt. 3 yard punt. Yes, 3 yards.

Swe ball on Ber 30. 15 yard run on 4th and 9. Next play, 13yard td run. 21-0.

Bertie ball at own 23. Moved to 30. End of quarter. Swe 21 Bertie 0.

Bertie is clearly overmatched. I just hope we don't have any injuries.

30 yard pass to swe 29. Turnover on downs on the the 24. First possession of quarter for swe with 5min left.

First play, 40 yard pass to Ber 35. Next play, 30 yard run. Next play, 5 yd option keeper. Missed xp. 27-0.

Bertie ball at 30. Deep pass, int. Swe ball at own 40. I'm on the home side, and dude in front of me just said swe doesnt have anything. Lol. Next play, 25 yard run straight up the middle.

Fumble recovered by Ber at own 40. Turnover on downs at own 44.

55 yard td pass call back, holding. Next play, runner drops ball heading towards outside, scoops it back up on the bounce in stride, saunters down the sideline for a 65 yard td. Missed xp, 33-0.

Ber at own 25. First play, fumble back to 14. Two passes converts the 2 and 25. Next play, 45yard int return for td. 40-0. Running clock.

Swe98-You a cool cat. Don’t want to see you again though unless y’all playing NEastern. Otherwise that means we getting slapped around by y’all in the playoffs. That wr y’all got looks like Randy Moss. Lol

Ber ball at 20. Bertie with nice drive going. Converts 4th and 15. But eventually goes backwards, turnover on downs at 50. End of quarter. 40-0.

It was good to meet you, bro. But don't be wishing NE on us. They look mighty legit. Maybe y'all will fire the coach midseason like they do in the NFL. Lol

SWE looking really good. Heard yall have one heck of a back
Our leading back is pretty good, but we go about 5 deep at the position. The rushing attack, as always, is pretty stout. Ball carriers are over 8ypc. We should have two 1,000 yard backs and a 500 yard back too. 8 starters returned on offense (all but 1 lineman) from last year's team, which was the highest scoring team in school history. So it's not really the back that's a beast. It's the line. We're fine on offense. I just hope the defense can match.

I hope we can beat the bully down the road for a change.
I think yall have a real shot at them this year. If yall can mix a few more well disguised passes and get your backs out on the edge you will be able to hang around. Defense is going to be the question. They have to play the gap and not fall for the misdirection. If yall can do that, yall can win.

Thats the problem. Tarboro's D plugs the inside holes well and their sideline to sideline speed is foolishly fast. The outside is rarely there. And on offense, they don't turn the ball over. A perfect game from us might give us a 25% chance. Lol. But this year is our best chance since our last victory in 2015.

I agree this is one if the best teams I've seen out of pinetops recently offensively. There is no question Tarboro's speed and discipline are as good as anyone in the state in my opinion. I think #11 can be an equalizer though. Just like how you can't teach speed, you sure as hell can't teach size either. He is a mismatch with anyone on Tarboro one on one if yall can get the run game going and have the safety cheat up.

He was the offense in last year's game. They double teamed him last year and he still got 10 rec for over 100. But they could afford to double him because they shut the run down. It'll be interesting to see this year. It'll be a single digit game either way. Can't wait.
