Don't know much about WC to be honest. If their D can't stop the run we will grind the clock and try to keep their O off the field. Really proud of the Panther kids this year as we lost 25 SRs off of last years team. All they've done is win the conference & set them selves up with a 2nd round game. Coach Brooks & staff continue to do more with less year after year.
You can say that again! Some good athletes on WC but very little discipline! Gonna be brutal next week but 3rd round here we come.
Agree with you on that father!....scoreboard may be a different story though.
West Caldwell football still has a long way to go. Even though Chip English has inproved what was an awful program he still has a lot to learn as a coach. His Warriors is really getting an reputation for being so chippy and trash talking. Discipline is horrible with this team. Even last weeks win at Ashe was an ugly victory with bad penalties and taunting. Tonight, Awful first half, 13 penalties, mostly chippy and undisciplined type penalties. It's amazing to see this 13 games into a season. The program has improved but if it is ever to get to the next level discipline has to get better. 13 penalties for 125 yards in the first half alone. Listening in here on Franklin's radio while watching and they are very critical on the lack of discipline the warrior's are showing. 2 minutes into second half I felt embarrassed enough just to get up and head to someplace warm. Franklin's got a good team but they'll not be able to compete with a Monroe team that put up 58 on a good Maiden team. I felt Franklin and Maiden would have been a equal match but Monroe will be a little too much for the Panther's to handle. Franklin will play them hard though because I was impressed with what I thought was a very well coached team

You cant take us from where we were over night. HUGE strides have been made in two years. Most thin-skinned officiating crew I have seen in recent memory. Most penalties on us were legit but IMO there was a clear bias that developed by the officials over the course of the game. They have to rise above that themselves - as well. Franklin beat us and was better - but it became a farce at the end. The head official picked up a flag thrown by the side judge for Unsportsman like conduct because it was so egregiously wrong. We have the right guy and Coach English will get it done!
Good game i agree bot 18 flags to just 3 on Franklin all game i agree that some of west flags where from running their mouth.But the flags was a little one sided everytime west crossed the 50 yard line they threw a flag. But anyway West should be really good next year on losing 3 senior starters. Franklin on the other hand good luck next week i say monroe by 21
