Well I’m at my 1st visit to Station field to watch East Rowan take on West Rowan. Hopefully I can still post scores later. Not sure how my phone will send messages later this evening.

Going into top of 2nd. West Rowan leads 3-0 over East Rowan. What I seen West has some power hitters. Good turnout of fans at this game.

Well I hated I couldn’t send more updates. But what a game. Started out for 1st 3 innings it look like it was going to be all West Rown. Going into the top of 4th West was up 6-0. Then East had bases loaded. 1 run was walked in. Still bases loaded. Then Chance Mako hit a grand slam homer.. West was up at that point 6-5. But then it became all East Rowan after that. East wins 9-6. I stated West has some power hitters. But ER show they could hit as well. These 2 teams should make a good showing in the Big Tournament.

"Chance Macho hit a grand slam homer" is the kind of sentence you expect to see from one of the great works of American literature somewhere, Faulkner or Hemingway. Seriously, that kid has a name like a legendary WWII ace fighter pilot or something.

I know Station Field where East Rowan plays at is really nice. The bleachers looks whole like the one at St Stephens the way it’s laid out. The ball field is really nice as well.
