Cloniger for NG was throwing some of the best off speed stuff I have seen this year. Really had the Crest batters off balanced. Asher Smith was effective for Crest but NG did great job of manufacturing runs.
Top 4 of the Big South going to make an exciting finish.
The Big South should have a good showing in the playoffs. I don't think any of them has enough to win it, but 4 very solid teams that are tough to beat.

Well we have a final St Stephens 13. Hickory 11. It’s been a good one and a looong game.
I got there early enough to catch half the JV game. St Stephens was up 3-0 but Hickory came back and won 6-3. The Varsity game was supposed to start at 6:30 but they didn’t get started until about 6:50. The game lasted good 3 hrs. Longest HS baseball game I believe I ever attended. So between both games it made it to seem really long. But both games were really good to watch.

Stuart Cramer with Britain on the bump in round 1 is going to be tough for whoever.
Can anyone from North Gaston or East Gaston confirm you are playing on Friday 04/28? According to Maxpreps, East Gaston is scheduled to play North Gaston at 4:00pm and 7:00pm and RS Central at 7:00pm on Friday.
They have another live arm in Carter Jessen and an effective arm they have been using as a closer with Hunter Reavis. Depending on the potential 2nd round match up I wouldn't be surprised to see Jessen in round 1.

SPC baseball tournament starts Tuesday. Carson at NWC at 7 and South at LN Charter. Wednesday semis are at Staton Field. East plays at 4 vs LNC or South. West plays at 7 vs NWC or Carson. Championship game at 7 Friday.
Due to potential weather, the SPC Championship game has been moved up to Thursday at 7:00 @ Staton Field
