As Bareman said ," no time in county history ( that I can remember) has 4 teams been to the regional semi-finals at the same time...good luck !! " I sure don't remember it happening either !
For the area and the conference I hope to see all our conference and Mount Airy schools win. For the NW1-A I hope to see it come down to Mount Airy & WSPrep in the west.
Mount Airy girls should be favored, third straight road game for Murphy girls an against a high quality opponent.
No disrespect to the other teams out there (I think the Avery girls are quite legit) but this is the defacto 1A state championship game IMHO.

You very well could be correct on this being C-Ship game, it will be a good one wished I could be there.
Looking at the records of Pamlico 27-3, 11-1. Plymouth 23-1, 18-0. Neither one of them have very shabby records. One thing that stands out is Plymouth always seems to go deep in the playoffs in all sports just like Mt. Airy and Murphy. They tells me they got administration that values athletics and I sure all 4 programs have great community support.
Gray Stone barely scraped by Hiwassee Dam (a solid but unspectacular team). I would fully expect Mt Airy and Murphy to beat Gray Stone handily. But I dont believe Gray Stone beats Avery, so its a mute point.
I Think I Can get Most Of these But if Anyone Gets A Score Post It and I Will Keep Them Consolidated Below. Also If You Get A Score Not Listed Posted.
