2A East Upsets

Just for the heck of it, here are my upset (according to seed) picks in the east:

24 West Craven over 9 Nash Central
22 Holmes over 11 S. Granville
23 Princeton over 10 E. Carteret
19 Kinston over 14 S. Columbus
17 Greene Central over 16 Midway
29 Washington loses a close one vs 4 WRH

I want to go with E. Duplin over St. Paul, but ehhh. I also want to go with N. Pitt over Farmville Central. If NP can play just a little defense, I believe they could win it. But that's their problem...defense. If they can hold FC under 30, they'll win. And no, I do not believe that my Cougars will be able to take down Cummings. They have two 1,000 yards rushers, and we are not going to be able to contain that. I expect a close game early, but I think it'll get away from us late second quarter on out. I see us losing by 22.

What should wrh fans look for from Washington?

Nothing fancy. Not a great but not a terrible team. Very middle of the pack-ish. Decent, but not a threat. I don't think they have a great chance against y'all. I just don't believe it'll be as bad as most will imagine it'll be. They aren't that bad.

This is a very good post. I can’t find one game I’d disagree on. Also the fact that you chose Cummings over your Cougars speaks volumes. So many up here make picks with their emotions and not looking at actual numbers and facts. I posted earlier in the week that I also thought the Pam Pack wouldn’t be an easy out. However I do like North Pitt but I’m not as familiar with those schools as you are so I take your word. That being said go 🦅

Do they pass much?

They pass about 16 times a game. They have 11 tds passing for almost 1000 yds. I’m one that thinks it will not be that close. Simmons has us by 20
