As someone said, if you win 20 games in HS baseball you are not a bad team.
They had a lefty that threw well.
W. Forsyth leading a very charmed playoff life so far with the extra inning win and now two 1 run games. They'll need to bring it to beat Cuthbertson on the road.
Thanks. I know Burns has gotta beat Lincoln Charter first but most of us knew Burns & East Rutherford would have to see each other this post season. Just hate it's not gonna be in the Regional Final 3 game series.
According to the line score and stats on Max Prep, Forbush was no hit tonight.
Actually it wasn't a no hitter. Hayesville did have one hit...a bunt single. Cherryville did pitch a no hitter the previous game vs Langtree Charter. In their 3 playoff games the only hit Cherryville starting pitching has allowed is the bunt single. Parker Anderson who pitched a complete game tonight threw 4 perfect innings in the first playoff game and Brock Bumgardner threw the complete game no hitter vs Langtree.

Ashley, last years state finals runner up just didn't seem to play up to their potential during the year. After too extra inning wins in the first two rounds they finally ran out of gas against Laney after they split the regular season matchups. Former UNCW player and Laney head coach Justin Bradley has the Bucs playing at a high level.
The three remaining 3A teams from the conference play Wednesday.

Burns loses a heartbreaker to Lincoln Charter 7-5
LC jumped out to a 6 run lead in the 1st and Burns just couldn't climb out of that hole. Great group of Burns seniors whose high school careers just ended.
