I thought they were going to bring forth a motion to amend the bylaws where they could realign every 2 years instead of 4?

All member schools received 2024-2025 #NCHSAA 20-Day ADM Numbers today. NCHSAA staff need to be notified of any errors and the deadline is TOMORROW at 2PM!

The process relative to our realignment CANNOT begin until all members can be classified accurately.

So can what has been posted in ADM numbers be corrected and changed by Tuesday? It seems I read back when this talk all started a month or so ago that Mount Airy's ADMs would be dropping some by 2025. I am not sure if it was enough to change their classification but I was surprised they jumped from 1A to 3A but anything the NCHSAA does surprises me. I hope as I also head this will change every 2 years instead of every 4 years as some schools are jumping in leaps and bounds in the last few years. I think MA may be ok in 3A but if they do drop in ADMs they and others should drop every 2 years in classification. Sorry, but I am just thinking about any teams that ADMs change next year, and the AMDs are being based on 2024 and not 2025-2026 if I understand what has been said. Are any other schools also concerned about the same thing.

MA numbers will not drop. With all the carport manufacturers in the area I don't see a drop.

The higher ADMs for Mount Airy do not really help the football team as much but give us a really good soccer team with some great Hispanic players we get. They have moved on to the Western finals in the playoffs after their upset match against #5 Carver, PPC & #1 Highland Tech. They play #13 Mount Airy vs #2 Bradford Prep for the Western title tomorrow.

What about the fight with Carver during the playoffs? No suspensions? I guess NCHSAA doesn't suspend anyone anymore.

Yeah, unless Millennium charter enrollment numbers go way up, it will be nearly impossible for a city of 11k to stay under 600.
Millennium Charter has a soccer team and was a roomer about 5 years ago that they would have a football team coming soon but I know someone who has a kid playing baseball there and that may happen sometime in the future but nowhere near the near future. I have seen their soccer field and it is rough and has very little seating if any at all. Our population is closer to 10,500 not that 500 makes a lot of difference.

I've been wanting to get one of those robot vacuum cleaners for a while now.

I just added an extra couple hundred due to the out of district enrollment. Holly Springs, Slate Mountain, Boonville, and others.
