What a game! 36 to 34 at half, 60 to 48 end of third. Run after run but the smothering defense of The Show was just too much for a really good Cox Mill team. Packed house also.
Only bad part of this game was despite 2 really good officials, one was equally out of their league, made about 5 or 6 really bad and stupid calls. Hopefully he will grow up and mature.

Not much action tonight for Lake Norman. 2/7. They will be home against South Iredell. But they will play at Mooresville this Friday 2/10. Big rival game.
West Cabarrus will be at Hough 2/7 for non conference game.
Mooresville will play at AL Brown tonight 2/7.
Cox Mill will be at home 2/8 at home against Kings Mountain on Wednesday for an interesting non conference matchup according to Max Prep.

In boys game Lake Norman won over South Iredell 87-47. This was the score I gave on the girls game but I had to edit. Lake Norman girls won 79-28 over South Iredell and not 87-47.

Senior night at The Lake was definitely A Show. Everybody on the LN bench played and played a lot.

Big rival game tonight 2/10. Mooresville vs Lake Norman. Game time 7:30. This has that “ UNC n Duke” classic rival and the electric atmosphere from crowd. Lake Norman has already locked up the conference in the boys and the girls as well.

The Lake Boys pulled out an 80 to 75 win over Mooresville. Callaway had 17 as a total of 5 of the Show Boys scored in double figures.

I’m here at Lake Norman for conference tournament. We have a low score here at HT. Hickory Ridge leading Cox Mill 22-16.

Ok finally able to get through. Bad internet. Anyway Cox Mill managed to make a come back. Tied end of regulations at 51. Cox Mill would make a last sec shot in OT to win 58-57. As of now Lake Norman is up 24-23 at HT over Mooresville

In this game Mooresville was shooting with scoped rifles and Lake Norman was shooting shot guns. They worn out the ream but just could not hit the nets. They were able to keep it close but you can not win shooting in the mid 20% and the other team shooting in the mid 60% to mid 70%.

I was at the game. I noticed Lake Norman was missing lot of shots. Even at the foul line.
