3 fantastic seniors in that “all conference” list with Rhodes, Lefevers, and Big Dru Mcclough. There were other seniors that were critical pieces as well…Bass, Lawing, Thomas, England, Gore, Landis, and Wright.
Congrats to these seniors on a fine season…they’ll be remembered as the team that reminded Maiden what it feels like to be playing on Thanksgiving again!

For me…..they’ll be called the..“Circus Show of ‘21”! 😉

How were the JV this year? Do we have a good QB coming up?

How were the JV this year? Do we have a good QB coming up?

Maiden JV’s finished 6-4.
Stover was the QB…I believe.

We saw a couple QB’s on varsity that played in the 4th quarter when Maiden had a big lead. In the Mt. Pleasant game when Rhodes took the big hit….it was Gibbs at QB…had Culliver back there with him too.
There’s no telling what Coach Byrne will do… but he has plenty of athletes to choose from. Ole Culliver can throw a pretty ball too!😉

Culliver was offered by Ohio St…that makes 12 or 13 offers….maybe more. Good for him!

How were the JV this year? Do we have a good QB coming up?

JVs looked good...we have some talent coming up. A lot of the JV kids I coached in rec league. As far as QB goes, JV had the Stover kid as a freshman. He's raw, but a pretty ball and he knows how to take control and command a game. His older brother, Stover 1, was his leading receiver, they have an awesome connection.

The question is, is the kid ready to move up or does he need 1 more year to develop? I can't answer that, but I imagine he's one year away still.
