Alleghany supposably has half there team hurt so i wouldn't pick them.

I agree except imo Wallace R-H defeats Plymouth. Either way East will have a tough 2nd round game especially the way East has played the last two weeks.

Dont give up so quick KW couple of the injured/sick are returning but not at full speed. Next man up works sometimes. Never underestimate the heart of a Trojan.

I was just goin off what u said talkin bout jv players suiting up this guy has torn ligament in hand, both 6ft 5 players r half dead, another guys puking before conference tournament, i meen the picture u painted wasnt a good one. McGuinness a little inconsistent because they are young. I think they only have one senior and their best players are sophomores I believe.

Bishop has played really well the last month, but they're up & down because of how young they are, not to mention thin up front. They're capable of beating the Bears (as Tommy noted, Bishop led that game into the 4th last time out), but I have a hard time seeing it.

Both teams have a right to be angry at that match-up in round one.

Well at least there is someone out there pulling for a charter/prep/advantaged school. I am of course pulling for the Alleghany Trojans and all the other traditional public high schools.

I usually pull for the traditional publics as well. However, in this case, I have two really good friends whose sons play for Uwharrie.

Anyhow, it's now a moot point. Uwharrie Charter got beat.....................by another charter last night.

Chute Boxe I have friends whose sons go to Uwharrie too. Hard to pull for the team though. Kind of tough to watch boys/girls come up through rec ball, most go to middle school together, play on middle school teams together, then suddenly go off to charter school because of what they call academic reasons. Funny thing is that these "academic" reasons seem to be affecting good players in both basketball and baseball? Thought since they were under NCHSAA umbrella now the athletic transfers might slow down with the 365 day wait to play but there is always an appeals process. Uwharrie had a good year in boys basketball congratulations to them.
